Profile
Anthony Parziale Zucco, known as Tony Zucco on the streets of Gotham City, is a mob accountant. He's responsible for taking favors, collecting the fees for those that have taken favors from his boss, and for managing the accounting books for his employer. A dropout of a poor, rundown high school with no other choice than to join the Mafia, his bright mind and his willingness to perform sick, cruel acts have earned him the name, "Birds", after his cohorts set up him for his first bust and trip to the police station, where he was found with an exhaustive collection of Hitchcock movies in 8MM reel and a private cinema in his garage (plus popcorn machine). Known for various tragedies, such as the hit on Haley's Circus to collect a favor from a peanut salesman that was too French to understand why peanuts disturb children, he is the man responsible for the death of Dick Grayson's parents. In Zucco fashion, he told the young orphan, in a strange night time meeting, that it was to collect on a debt from a pigeon. He was soundly beaten out of remembering this threat in incarceration, by prison guards on Bruce Wayne's pay, hiding Robin's true identity forever. Zucco was just referencing the Flying Graysons' costumes.
