Astromotion:
Manker is capable of flight by accelerating himself(jumping) and creating a localized pocket of heat energy to distort his falling, with small mass ejections for course correction and alteration. Really, this is just him being able to fall and miss hitting the ground by being clever and very hot. He is incapable of flying if he cannot perform mass ejections, however. In water or vacuum he can move himself by the same means much more easily (and quickly/efficiently in vacuum.)
Awakened Potential:
Through a combination of experience, magical experimentation, and circumstance, Manker's body has awakened to its full potential and bestows upon him greater physical abilities and longevity.
These increased trait values are:
Strength: ~1Mg
Toughness: About on-par with steel, with bone strength being greater than that.
Perception: Double the potency of an average human athlete. His visual focus and light sensitivity is swice that of norm, he has an immunity to glare-like effects due to his own light production. Too much light(whiteout) is still an issue, but he won't suffer lingering penalties. His hearing range is twice that of normal people, above and below. Unfortunately, this means he can be affected by a wider variety of auditory attacks. He can read tactile information within around a two meter range around his body from enhanced skin reception and thermosensory input.
Dexterity: Double that of an athlete, an olympic medal would be something of a mild exercize for him.
Speed: 160km/h sustained, much quicker for short bursts of movement.
Intellect: He's a little sharper than your average person, well-rounded education. He's very smart and quick witted and is capable of solving complex problems quickly, but this is practical knowledge related to combat and survival, as well as leadership and not booksmarts.
Willpower: His mental fortitude is strong, but constantly assaulted by the dark orb. More resilient than an average person still.
Dimmed Radiance:
Manker is able to almost entirely negate his passive stellar emissions by keeping them retained, this is easier with less charge and at overcharge levels he cannot perform this feat at all, allowing others to come near him without consequence unless he is at critically high levels of mass.
Eyelights:
Another supportive technique, riding along the principles of hiding his radiance, Manker is able to project his eyebeams without releasing stellar matter, simply projecting twin beams of sunlight. Using this technique does not drain his energy, but may be prone to releasing full eyebeams instead if he is at critical mass, giving up to 100k lux of brightness where his eyes are focused in a 40 degree cone for each eye.
Nuclear Immunity:
Manker's altered physiology renders him almost entirely resistant to wave-based radiation while particle-based radiation increases the speed at which his charge is generated and empowers him. He also has an incredible immunity to heat and a lesser resistance to cold because of his natural heat levels negating it.
Also, due to his increased body temperature and the concentration of radioactive solar plasma, as well as the required resilience of his body's cellular structure, most bacteria, viruses, parasites, diseases, and foreign matter are destroyed on contact. His unique digestive system that directly converts ingested mass into energy to feed his plasma generation renders him unaffected by poisons, toxins, and venoms. In most cases, they just contribute to the mass that feeds into his plasma generation.
Regenerative Stasis:
Manker has been blessed and cursed by the dark orb in a sense. Every four hours his body is restored to peak condition at the expense of some of his accumulated stellar mass, more quickly if sleeping or otherwise resting. Major structural repairs or outright resurrection or reconstruction leave him drained of mass for a period of time requiring him to rest, or at least wait a day to build up his reserves of solar mass to be effective beyond minimal eyelights.
Spaceworthy:
Manker's body is altered from the human norm, he is able to survive the vacuum of space without assistance and does not require oxygen to survive.
Starsong:
Manker has spent a considerable amount of time with nature and amongst many foreign cultures. As such he can 'get the gyst' of body language of most things, including 'non intelligent' or otherwise 'non sentient' creatures. Sometimes plants too, after a period of individual observation for physiological cues- more in-depth understanding requires cultural observation.
As well, his close relationship with Sol and the other stars in the night sky has given him the revelation that their patterns of light and emissions constitutes as a type of communication.. whether from the stars themselves or from the environments they pass, he claims to be able to understand the 'language of the stars'. Though understanding stars is more for flavour unless some great evil was coming across milennia, it does let him forecast some of the sun's weather though in an immediate sense.

Dark Orb:
The dark orb is a very powerful magical stasis field around a dark mass. The dark orb contains a hungry and vast source of evil that watches over, drains power from, and subtly influences Manker at every passive moment. It will not allow him to die and will force his body into a type of stasis to recover. The dark orb also may engage this stasis and enforce a direct control if a strong, direct attempt to alter his thoughts or actions occurs from an external source, be it positive or negative, and drive him to attack it or flee immediately and will be much more likely to do so in the presence of strong magics that aren't directly harmful if Manker cannot guile himself to maintain control.
The Orb will use this energy harvested to, eventually, manifest itself outside of its containment and attempt to devour the world as it had Manker's homeworld,
Displaced:
Manker is not from this plane and is rather unfamiliar with the customs, though acts with general respect towards everyone unless there is a reason to deny it.
Fuel:
Despite the self reliance of his body, Manker still feels mundane needs like hunger and thirst. While they will not kill him, they will cause significant distraction if his heightened metabolism isn't treated properly.
Illiterate:
Manker isn't from Earth, and despite his native tongue being similar to english, in enough ways he can communicate verbally, none of the written languages make sense to him. But this is easily fixed if someone teaches him, don't expect him to know how to deal with documents unless given explicit instructions beyond putting his name somewhere. It's unlikely anyone will understand his writing as well.
Magic:
Manker's weakness are things that are magical or spiritually inclined. They often will affect him unhindered save for what preservation the Orb gives- which is only against mental alterations(instead the Orb substitutes its own conscience to preserve his integrity) and often convince him to attempt fleeing from those situations(often not of his own volition) or succumb to injury or stasis until he's brought to safety.
Past:
Bearing a dark and traumatic past, at times Manker will mentally retreat, possibly giving in to the Dark Orb's influence, or bringing himself into recluse until it passes.
