Description:

Sarah Connor is a tall, attractive, well-proportioned, adult woman, with blue eyes, and blonde hair. However, she is known to wear dark sunglasses, color-changing contact lenses, and dye her hair. She is in excellent physical shape for a woman of any age, not just her own. Often a social chameleon, she can change her body language on a dime, being a bright and bubbly valley girl one moment, and a badass soldier the next.

She has some scarring from old battle injuries, all of which have healed well. Part of that is down to favorable genetics, and part of it is from her health, which is outstanding. She is conditioned like a professional athlete, and benefits from the innate healing properties that come from it.

Her clothing is usually appropriate for the situation, whatever she is trying to achieve. When no purpose is intended, she defaults to something modern, but unremarkable. She is trying to fit in, to blend, and to disappear in a crowd. Her hair style is similarly kept. When she has to change it in a hurry, she still goes for contemporary styles.

She does favour pants over skirts, boots over shoes, and a jacket, as they offer better protection, and greater versatility. Unless deliberately acting otherwise, she moves with a confident, rich, and forceful body language. Her intentions are often readily apparent.

History

History:

Sarah Connor was born into a suburban lifestyle. Her mother was a waitress and her father was a veteran. He walked out on them when she was a child. Other than that, she lived an ordinary life. When she was 19 years old, she was working as a waitress at Big Jeff's, shared an apartment with Ginger Ventura, and was studying at West Metropolis Junior College.

This all changed on May 12, 2012. Pursued by a relentless cyborg from the future, she was rescued by Sergeant Kyle Reese, a time-travelling Tech-Com soldier. He explained that in the future, an artificial intelligence called Skynet would be created by military software developers to make strategic decisions. He explained how it became self-aware, seized control of most of the world's military hardware, and launched an all-out attack on the human race. They called it Judgment Day.

He explained that a man named John Connor rose up, leading the Human Resistance, and in a last-ditch effort, Skynet sent the Terminator back in time to destroy John Connor's family before he could be born. He explained that she was that family. John Connor was her son.

They didn't have long, but in the three days that they were together, they lived a lifetime. Reese left her with that son, in an apparent stable time-loop. After the Terminator was destroyed, Sarah told anyone who would listen. She sounded like a raving lunatic. CyberDyne Systems, the company that owned the factory where the Terminator was destroyed, covered it up.

Sarah went down to Central and South America, where she gave birth to John. She learned and trained with whoever would teach her. This continued until she got caught trying to blow up an office building back in Metropolis. She got sent to the Connecticut Valley Hospital, formerly known as the Connecticut General Hospital for the Insane. John was put into foster care.

His foster parents wanted to adopt him. On the day, the very same day, that she signed off on it, she decided to break out, or die trying. At the same time, John came to rescue her with another Terminator, that John nicknamed Uncle Bob.

Afterwards, they destroyed a branch of CyberDyne Systems in order to avert, or at least delay, Skynet's creation, all the while being pursued by the T-1000, which had also been sent back in time. After it was destroyed in a steel mill, Sarah and John destroyed the remnants of the original Terminator, and Uncle Bob.

In the years since, they have tried to settle down, living normal lives, but live in constant fear of being discovered by the authorities. While Sarah was working as a waitress, and John was in school, he was attacked by a T-888, Mr. Cromartie, but saved by Cameron Phillips, a reprogrammed T-900. It was a grim reminder that they had not stopped Judgment Day, only delayed it.

After escaping Cromartie, they settled down in Metropolis, assuming the identities of Sarah Baum, and her children, John and Cameron Baum, after L. Frank Baum, creator of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which she used to read to John when he was a child. They have since become acquainted with Derek Reese, Kyle's older brother. He later adopted the identity of Derek Baum.

The battle for our tomorrow starts today.

Personality:

Everything about Sarah Connor is focused on a single goal: surviving Judgment Day. She has dedicated her life to that cause since the day she met Kyle Reese. Everything is viewed through that lens. She has her moments, enjoying a cup of coffee, talking about a movie, but these moments are fleeting. It always comes back to Judgment Day.

She is not afraid to get her hands dirty. She will get the job done, no matter what it takes. Strong-willed doesn't even begin to cover it. She wrote the book on it. It's a wonder she hasn't been given a Green lantern ring yet.

She can be cynical, a life on the run will do that to you, but she is highly effective. She trusts very few people. She is convinced that John is all important, so when he finally dies, everyone dies eventually, she will either be long in the grave, or she will be right there, beside him, having been a human shield, giving him those extra few moments of life.

Simply put: John cannot die while she yet lives. It's like gravity. Don't argue with it.

She will keep going, with a ridiculously high pain threshold, pushing herself beyond limits that would break most people. She's resourceful, highly intelligent, and has a clear motivation. But she has never become like the machines. She has hurt people. Some may have even died of their injuries. But they weren't dead when she left them. She isn't a killer. She tries to injure, rather than kill, human beings. She is a rare breed of fanatic. Her dreams are filled with nightmares of the future. Everything she does is to stop them from becoming reality.

Basic First Aid:
Sure, you break a bone, or rupture a spleen? She's not your one to fix it. But she has learned a few tricks of the trade to keep her out of the doctor's office. After all, they're supposed to fill reports on many of the things she has had in the past. Things she'd rather not mention, like gunshots.

Demolitions:
When the only way to get rid of Terminators was to blow up every single piece.. Sarah got really good at it. Terminators, warehouses, cars.. you name it, she likely has needed to blow it up to protect herself and John.

Escape Artist:
If it can lock people up, Sarah has probably escaped from it. Even if it takes time to figure out. She's particularly good at handcuffs, to the point of twisting her thumb out of its joint, and pulling. With the proper tools, or something makeshift, she is pretty damn good at escaping from handcuffs, restraints, and locked rooms. She's done it all.

Grand Theft Auto:
Sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do, and sometimes that's stealing cars. Older cars are easy to hot wire. Newer ones take a bit more, but it can still be done.

Haggling:
In the wilds of Central and South America, often the only way is to haggle in order to get what you need. It's proven to be a good skill to possess, especially when neither Sarah, nor the seller, usually want to go through the proper channels.

Investigation:
While John has the real ability with working computers, Sarah can still use one for base investigations. And furthermore she can use that knowledge and other things to get a good grip on most things she needs.

Languages:
Spending almost half of her life south of the Rio Grande, it's been easy to pick up languages, namely, Spanish, Portuguese, and even French, in addition to her native English.

Lock Picking:
Sarah's pretty good at picking locks: to let herself out, or to break herself in. Sometimes a good pick is all you need. It doesn't even have to be a real lock pick!

Lying:
Over the years of her life spent on the run, or at least living off the grid, she and John have sometimes depended on her ability to lie, and to lie convincingly. Sarah has become an expert at it. She's also good at telling when someone is lying to her.

Marksman:
From her time in South America, and beyond in the US, Sarah has had to learn just about every type of handgun, rifle, military grade weapons, and more. She is quite skilled with these, enough so, she feels comfortable using them, anytime, anywhere.

Mechanic:
One thing that always happens is sooner or later, everything breaks down. And since Sarah lived for the most part under the radar, she had to learn to fix pretty much anything, or at least get them working to get through one more day.

Nuclear Scientists:
Oppenheimer. Fermi. Teller. Heisenberg. You name it, Sarah's fascinated by them. She keeps hoping that one day she'll understand enough to know how to take the terminators for good.

Situational Analysis:
Every second counts when you are on the lamb. Sarah makes up her mind fast, and puts into place the plans.

Street Fighter:
Sarah is the best fighter that John knows, and he knows a Terminator. Sure, Sarah is not a Terminator, but she can hold her own most of the time. Longer than any human of her age, height, weight, and build, has any right to.

Survival:
Whatever it takes to make another day. Whether it is a lie, how to cheat someone, steal.. anything - Sarah will do it. As long as it keeps John safe.

Waitress:

Waitressing is one of the best things that Sarah can do. It allows her time to check on John, dropping everything at a moment's notice, pulling up any roots they've made, especially when people get too nosey, and she's good at it. It's not hard, and attractive women like Sarah make great tips

Baum House:
Sarah lives in a house in Midvale, New Troy, with her son, John, and her "daughter" Cameron. She has a normal home life, or as normal as can be. However, the basement contains a wall full of words written in blood by a Resistance fighter. The Connor Family have deciphered and dealt with some of them, but many remain unexplained

Cameron Phillips:
Cameron is John's protector. He sent her from the future. If it weren't for that... does Sarah trust her? Not a bit, but John has made it clear that Sarah doesn't have a choice.

Charley Dixon:
In another life, he would have been her husband. As an Emergency Medical Technician, she has had to call upon him as a friend. It's dangerous, but sometimes it is a necessity.

Derek Reese:
Brother to Kyle, uncle to John, if there was one person in all the world that Sarah could trust besides John, it would be him.

Hidden Money and Guns:
In the future, the Human Resistance has found a way to travel back in time in order to hide caches of money and guns, so it will be there for them in the future. It's confusing, but it does make sense. Now, sometimes these caches aren't the easiest things to find, seeing that the world keeps on changing, but here and there, they do find some, meet people who know about them, or Cameron decides it's appropriate to reveal one. Not a lot, but some.

John Connor:
John is the whole reason for Sarah's being. Does she trust him? Irrevocably, yes.

Salceda Gang:

Sarah Connor's identity of Sarah Baum was arranged, at great expense, by Carlos Salceda, nephew of Enrique Salceda. These identities include both physical Ids, and digital database entries. They could even draw social security on them. Sarah used to run guns with them. Through them, they have access to people who operate on the other side of the law.

Aloof:
Since the birth of her son John, Sarah has removed herself from all the people who might help her. Between not trusting anyone, to not trusting herself, she lived a lonely life. When Kyle was killed before John was born, Sarah swore she would protect her son, even to the detriment of herself. And now he's almost grown she realizes this is all that she knows, and she's afraid. What now?

John:
John is her everything. She put her all into raising him with the hopes that he will free the world of the terminator threat. So yes, if you wanted to get her, all you would have to do is threaten John.

Murder In Her Eyes..:
..But has never killed. No matter how she has protected her son, she has never killed. She's knocked people out, threatened them, locked them up, shot them, but never killed them. It may be there has been no reason, or maybe she just can't. Someday it will happen, she'll have to decide: will she, or won't she? And she doesn't like it one bit. It makes her a tiny bit afraid of what she might have to choose.

Sacrificial Lamb:
Sarah would rather sacrifice her own life than tell anyone where John is. Now sometimes it may be necessary, but other times.. Really, all that they would have to do would be to kill her, and then who would look out for him. Cameron? Not likely! Besides, there's still a whole lot John needs to know before he will be ready to take SkyNet on.

Warrants:

She's got warrants out on her. To the point where the F.B.I. has her picture on the wall. Sometimes it gets a little crazy getting out of trouble!
