Profile
The lean, pale woman in black with the silver lenses. Depending on who you ask, her names Molly. Or Sally. Or Razor. Maybe she's a hero, maybe she's a villain. Generally she's got a propensity for violence, a mean streak a mile long and seems to live on the fringes.
New York's underground might know her as a mercenary. Blood sport fighter. Occasional uncostumed 'hero'. Violent vigilante.
Stark-Fujikawa people once knew her as the mousy Sally Shears, intern to Tony Stark. Rumored driver for the Fantastikart 2025 race... who one day up and quit without warning.
To the Bat-Fam she's a criminal. Potential violent psychopath. Wanted for murder.
In Genosha she's the occasional guest of the Imperator, self-proclaimed mother figure to Lucy and Blink. Not a mutant, but known to be at least comfortable with the wide variety that people come in.
In Madripoor she's the owner of Saint Molly's, a bar in Low Town. Home of cheap drinks and a regularly organized blood sport ring.

Lean. Forgettable. At 170cm (5'7") with the sparse frame of a athlete and clothing of black there's little to make her stick out from the crowd. Maybe in her thirties, maybe younger; pale skin with generous lips and silver lenses covering her eyes that at first glance are easily mistakable for sunglasses. Her black hair is cut into a rough shag that doesn't reach her shoulders, often pushed behind an ear to keep it out of her way.
Her body is spare, neat, with the elegant functionality of a warplane's fuselage; lacking much in the way of feminine curves. A black tee with a high neck and a loose jacket thrown over the top. Matching jeans offset by prototypical black combat boots.
The observant might note that the lenses covering her eyes are inset into the flesh above her cheekbones, sealing her eye sockets entirely, and that the line of her jacket is disturbed with the bulk of a holster under one arm.

History

Molly was born in Night City, the Sprawl, more formally known as the Boston-Atlanta Metropolitan Axis (BAMA), in the year 2190. To parents she doesn't remember, and a name she'd rather forget. A SIN (Single Identity Number)-less birth, she was raised by the streets.. destined to wind up as parts in a vat, a junkie or whore. But Molly.. or Mistie.. Sally.. or Rose, refused to allow the circumstances of her birth to define her. Although she worked as a time as a "meat puppet", it was to afford the multitude of surgeries needed to make it as a razor girl.
Much of her history as a meat puppet she doesn't remember by design; part of the software installed in her first surgery. The cut-out started to fail after the surgery to heighten her reflexes, however, and though she does not consider most of that time to have been unpleasant, by accident she discovered after the installation of the razors in her fingertips that she'd been rented out to highly 'specialized' fields when the cut-out failed mid-session with a senator.. and the body of another woman. That night marked not only the end of her 'career' as a meat puppet, but the death of the senator and the first time that Molly had to undergo elective surgery to alter her appearance and avoid death at the hands of the Yakuza backing the senator.
After that she was Mistie Steele, augmented feather-weight prize fighter. With a decent record, more wins than losses, her purse went towards the further surgeries, the refinements necessary to give her an edge in a world of jacked up joe boys and vat grown assassins.
She'd struck out on her own as a mercenary, struggling to make ends meet and afford the additional work she felt necessary to refine her augments when she met Johnny at the Drome bar, interfering in a deal gone bad between him and Ralfi Face. Hired by Johnny as his bodyguard under her best known name, Molly Millions, Molly came up against the Yakuza again. Forced to retreat with Johnny to live among the group known as the Lo Teks, a reprieve was bought for a time when she defeated the Yakuza's assassin on the Killing Floor and for a time she and Johnny lived well.. blackmailing Johnny's former clients with the information that he'd smuggled over time.
All good things, however, have to come to an end.. and for Molly and Johnny, that end was Johnny's death at the hands of the Yakuza. Molly, however, evaded death, and was eventually hired by a man called Armitage for a run on the Tessler-Ashpool corporation with a burnt-out decker known as Case. From the Sprawl to Chiba City and up to the space colony's of Zion and Freeside Molly found herself up to her eyeballs in a situation where little was what it seemed. From Armitage being little more than a personality construct overlaid in the mind of a schizophrenic war survivor, to having been hired by an AI determined to escape the Turing restrictions set on it. Though out of nostalgia and loneliness she hooked up with Case for a time in the end Molly chose to move on rather than wind up losing Case too.
Such has been the trajectory of much of Molly's life.. leave, before you are left. Kill.. before you are killed. Fight, because if you don't you will vanish without a trace.. forgotten forever. A trajectory knocked off its arc the night Molly reluctantly walked into a simstim bar in Chiba to meet with the entity formerly known as Wintermute, and woke up in Central Park in 2025.

Relentless. Violent. Confident. Reliable. Street Samurai. Survivor.
Molly's life is built around her own peculiar code of ethics. She's not a hero, she's not a villain. She's just a woman trying to live life on her own terms. Molly's word is her bond, and if she commits to the protection of another she approaches it with all the inexorable relentlessness of a freight train. She does not regret the lives she has taken and she has no illusions that some day she will meet her own grisly end at the point of blade or gun.
The job is all. This is a philosophy she applies not only to herself in the commission of a contract, but considers inherant to other professionals in her field. Opposition is not personal, although she will not hesitate if she feels it is her life or theirs, hatred is a waste of time and energy and they, too, are doing their jobs just as she is doing her own.
As a friend she is fiercely loyal in the broadstrokes, even if her general reticence and blunt honesty might be considered cruel by some.. she's not an easy woman to know, simply because in her world nothing lasts forever and it is best to keep ones distance rather than get emotionally involved.

CLAWS
From the wrist down, only the outer dermis of Molly's hand remains of her original hands. The bones have been replaced by a Hosaka corporation prosthesis and act as hosuing for the 10cm (4") retractile double-bladed scalpels that have been implanted into her hands. The finger tips of her hands have been replaced completely by synethic flesh, leaving her without fingerprints or fingernails. Frequently as an affectation she'll wear false nails to conceal this fact and the blade's housings underneath.
COMMUNICATIONS
Molly's implants include a communications suite inside her skull. Including transdermal microphone in her throat, transmitter inside her left ear canal and wifi it replaces the need for her to carry a cell phone and allows her to speak subvocally when needed in addition to giving her access to the internet. This system is not designed for compatibility with Earth Prime's systems and has been patched to do so. In it's own way it provides protection alongside the largely dormant ICE protecting it as most systems have difficulty translating her IP into something local systems can understand.
EYES
Molly's original eyes have long since been replaced by vat-grown synthetics made by the Tessier-Ashpool corporation. These provide her with perfect regular vision and acute night vision, but are sensitive to sudden transitions. To protect her eyes and provide additional functionality, her eye sockets have been sealed with a pair of surgically implanted silver lenses. These provide polarization to ease transition and limited infrared. The left orbit includes additional implants to provide a chronometer and HUD for her other augments. As a result of this alteration, her tear ducts have been rerouted to her mouth.
IMPLANTS
Molly has a body full of silicon and metal alloys. Enhanced reflexes and strength through monofiliment lacing from Hosaka, heightened senses by Sense/Net, pain dampeners, memory support. Most of her augmentations are designed to be invisible on the surface, her lenses and the synth skin that produces tattoo-like patterns on her arms the most immediately visible. Behind her ear, under her hairline, there's also a jack port and a couple of slots that are at least compatible with the older technology of SD micro-cards.
NANITES
Molly is host to a colony of nanites whose purpose is strictly medical. Although they will heal her and have limited ability to repair her internal augments they have limited shelf life.
REFLEXES
Molly's reflexes and agility have been neurosurgically altered and enhanced to superhuman levels.
SIMSTIM
Molly's suite of enhancements includes a simstim rig. In her own world and time this meant that those with the appropriate gear could 'jack in' to her senses and experience the world as a passenger in her body.

Molly is fluent in Japanese, German and street sign. She's also passingly familiar with Mandarin and French.

Molly once made a living as an 'augmented featherweight' on the professional circuit.. in Night City. As such she is skilled in a Muay Thai based mixed martial art.

ALTERNATE WORLD
The world Molly comes from is vastly different from Earth Prime and the differences in morality have caused her to run afoul of at least some of Earth Prime's heroes. She's not the sort to 'save' others from choices they've made, or hesitate about ending a conflict lethally. The latter in particular often winds up with her at odds with this worlds heroes. Oops.
Conversely, it's against Molly's moral code to reveal information about jobs she's been paid to do or people that she knows, and this, too, has resulted in issues with the 'locals'. The more threats or physical violence are offered as a way of extracting information the harder she digs in her heels, often making situations worse for herself unnecessarily.
CYBORG
Metal and silicone. There's a lot of it in Molly's body, particularly in her head. This will certainly make her vulnerable to metal manipulators, electricity and cybernetic attacks. While she has her own protections against casual intrusion her architecture was never really designed to handle mutants.
PERSONALITY
Blunt. Honest. Recalitrant. Molly isn't fond of pulling verbal punches and doesn't like to share about herself, which is a huge flaw at a time in one's life when they really need a good friend.
TECHNOLOGICAL ODDITY
More than just being a Cyborg itself.. Molly's technology isn't from this world, and isn't something she herself created or installed. Once it's broke, it's broke, unless she can find someone with the skill to repair, upgrade or replace her parts.
UNCERTAIN FUTURE
Molly comes from a future that may not actually turn out to be the future of where she is now. She can't predict the coming days, because things seem to turn out differently than what she was born into.
