Emery's a bit of an...enigma to say the least. He works as a butler or personal assistant for those in positions of powers for the most part, and he has for...the last 8 or so years (As was his father and grandfather before him), however it doesn't appear that his substantial financial stability comes from these jobs. He has an accent that can go from polished and Britished and Alfredished...to straight up 'ghetto' Irish where 'h' is the silent letter of the alphabet. He can be primped and polished one moment and then wearing designer jeans and message-ts the next. He can do a wicked close and awesome shave with an old fashioned straight aged razor...but he has a precision with blades that can be both helpful, and horribly dangerous. He's really just a father who used to work for Prime Ministers and other cabinet workers and politicians and is now in the states.

GABRIEL'S GRACE

Emery can tell if someone is lying, this is part of being able to 'hear' the truth. He has to focus however. This also manifests in the occasional 'mini-vision' when he's hearing about something happening from a third party and he's able to tell 'that's not how that happened' even if he cannot see exactly /did/ happen.

MICHAEL'S GRACE

Emery has a natural aptitude for utilizing bladed weapons and slightly enhanced speed and strength (Not super). He does have higher endurance/constitution than most, high pain tolerance, and metabolizes more quickly that others making some things like pain medications or alcohol less effective than he'd like. In extreme duress, this 'blessing' can send him into a 'trance' that is akin to a berzerker's rage.

RAPHAEL'S GRACE

Emery has tactile empathic absorption and projection capabilities. This is dangerous because when he connects with a living thing, he can take their pain/negative emotions or he can project his own into that living thing. If someone or something living is hurt or suffering from wounds, he can absorb that pain into himself and feel it. If he is hurt or suffering from wounds, he can project that pain into another person and they feel each pain as though it is their own. If this connection is held on for too long, it can lead to a physical healing due to the psychosematic connection, but this is dangerous and can push either party closer to death.

SAMAEL'S GRACE

Emery can absorb someone's life force and release their soul to wherever it is meant to be, if that person is close to death and if he is the one who pushed them there. Every life he takes/reaps, he gets years added to his life but he also gets years added to the penance he must perform. This curse is one that means he will never be at peace until all evil is vanquished from the earth and he has found a way to make up for every life he has taken. For now, he suffers when he sleeps because he hasn't found another way.

Emery has been alive for 114 years, he is well versed in biblical history as well as the history of what happened in that time period.

Emery knows how to kill people quietly, loudly, privately, painfully, painlessly. He knows how hard you have to hit or stab, and he knows how to get rid of bodies. It comes with his 'holy' mission.

Being a 'Soldier for the Lord' comes with having to know a few things about the Occult, things about spells and such. He knows Enochian and just has never had to use it defensively just yet. Emery has accumulated a healthy amount of wealth over the years. He doesn't flash it or live in a way that you can tell but his daughter is well cared for and has babysitters/goes to private schools and his clothing even when they look simple are usually designer and/or custom tailored.

Emery has 3 secured and unknown to him spelled chests that hold dangerous instruments of death, blades and swords for the most part, plenty of knives and a collection of small handguns and appropriate ammo.

ANGELIC OVERSIGHT

He is a pawn in a war being waged between light and darkness and this Angelic Godparents tend to meddle in his life when he least expects it. This is not a good thing as they expect him follow out orders and he's been derelict in his duties so random things seem to go wrong for him at the worse times to try to remind him of his duties.

HIS DAUGHTER

Emery's daughter, Kennis, is his life. He would kill and die for this little girl.

NEVER AT PEACE

Emery suffers from severe Nightmares, he attempts to cope these days because of his daughter by using high doses of medication which don't knock him out completely but reduce the physical tremors/seizures and trauma his body often goes through. His nightmares are night terrors on crack as he's being tortured or tormented on a different level to atone for the lives he has taken. One day, he'll find a better way to atone.

ON THE RUN

There are several clients and rich people that Emery has worked for, that he has done jobs for or protected against things they would be ashamed of. He knows alot and there are some people who may come after him. There are also those who are hearing about what he did when he saved that one night stand so his list of people who want to capture/find him continues to grow.
