Profile
Donald Pierce was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a wealthy industrialist, being the CEO and main shareholder of Pierce Consolidated Mining. His company headquarters recently moved from Cameron, Kentucky to New York. In addition to being a confirmed racist, Pierce is rabidly and violently anti-mutant.
He is a regular and extreme speaker for Friends of Humanity, advocating for such things as chemical castration, marking or forced segregation of mutants. He is known as the White Bishop within Friends of Humanity. Pierce is also the head of the anti-mutant terrorist group the Reavers. Through the Reavers, Pierce advocates purging the world of mutants block by block, street by street, if necessary. He is a full cyborg himself and is an established serial killer of mutants. Recently, Charles Xavier and the X-Men have earned a special place of deep loathing with Pierce.
Sheet
Description
He dresses in blue slack and shirt, with a white jacket featuring black designs and three straps across the chest. He wears a white cape typically draped over the left shoulder. He carries himself with the arrogance of the wealthy and those who are among the self-appointed superior.
Pierce carries no visible weapons, but is able to extend blades from his arms and extend his fingernails into metal claws. He is also heavy for his size, the result of being a fully converted cyborg.
History
After finishing his MBA, Pierce founded a mining company that eventually grew into the behemoth that is Pierce Consolidated Mining. The wealth and influence of his company was not enough for Pierce, and he was drawn to the Hellfire Club. He found his true home there, at least for a time, and rose to become a member of the Inner Circle until the downfall of the Hellfire Club at the hands of the X-Men.
Pierce disappeared from the public eye for several years after the defeat of the Inner Circle, during which time he began his eventual total conversion to a cyborg. When he re-emerged as an anti-mutant firebrand within Friends of Humanity, Pierce also began recruiting the most extreme people from various meetings to join the Reavers. The Reavers received cybernetic enhancements and began a campaign of terror attacks against mutants. These culminated with an attack on celebrity Andrea Jackson, which drew the attention of the X-Men to Pierce once again. A number of Reavers died and Pierce surrendered to the X-Men and was let go. The X-Men now have a special place of loathing in Pierce's heart and he will stop at nothing to hurt them.
Personality
Abilities
Nearly all of Donald Pierce's organic tissue has been replaced with highly advanced cybernetics constructed of a lightweight metal alloy that function in much the same way as his organic tissue once did, only vastly more efficient. Originally, only Pierce's arms and legs were replaced with cybernetic limbs, yet Pierce has steadily replaced his organic tissues over the years with cybernetic, adding upgraded technology from the future and back to his body when needed.
PSIONIC RESISTANCE
Over the years, Pierce has added various technology to his organic brain tissue that enables him to revert telepathic assaults back to the person they originate from, at least to a certain degree. Exceptionally powerful telepaths however, such as Charles Xavier or Jean Grey, have proven resistant to this ability and have successfully assaulted Pierce's mind.
SENSORS
Pierce's eyes have been retrofitted into enhanced visual optics enabling a host of scanning, homing and relaying arrays.
SUPERHUMAN AGILITY
Pierce's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.
SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY
The light metal alloy that makes up most of Pierce's body is much more resistant to physical injury than the organic tissue of a normal human. Pierce's cybernetic body can withstand powerful impact forces, high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, exposure to extreme temperatures, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury. With the addition of Adamantium added to his hardware, Pierce's new robotic body was all but indestructible. Easily able to fend off attacks from Wolverine's bone claws with little difficulty.
SUPERHUMAN REFLEXES
Pierce's reflexes are similarly enhanced, and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.
SUPERHUMAN SPEED
As in the case of physical strength, the advanced hydraulics of Pierce's cybernetics enable him to run and move at speeds beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.
SUPERHUMAN STAMINA
Pierce's advanced hydraulics enable him to exert his body physically for much longer periods of time than a normal human. While they don't produce fatigue toxins like human muscles, the hydraulics are susceptible to wear and tear if he exerts himself for too long. At peak efficiency, Pierce can exert himself physically for up to 24 hours before the overall efficiency of his hydraulic systems begins to sustain damage without Pierce stopping to rest and repair any damage.
SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH
The musculature of Pierce's upper and lower body has been replaced with highly advanced hydraulics that are many times stronger than his organic tissue was. At peak operating efficiency, Pierce possesses sufficient superhuman strength to lift about 10 tons.
Skills
Pierce has amassed a significant amount of experience in combat using his cybernetic enhancements. He is a crafty and ruthless fighter, but lacks any degree of finesse, relying on his enhanced strength and speed.
INDUSTRIALIST
Pierce is a well-trained and experience executive, specializing in mining. As an accomplished businessman, he is familiar with the ins and outs of running a large organization, managing people, setting strategy and monitoring execution.
SKILLED SPEAKER
Pierce is a convincing and charismatic speaker. He has lots of experience speaking at anti-mutant rallies and events, business events and in the Hellfire Club. He is quite able to play a crowd and get his point across.
Resources
As the head and primary stockholder of Pierce Mining Consolidated, Pierce has access to significant corporate assets and personnel.
REAVERS
Pierce is the leader and driving force behind the Reavers, an anti-mutant terror group. He has been recruiting for some time and has a sizeable cadre of cybernetically enhanced followers who are willing and eager to kill mutants.
WEALTHY
In addition to his inherited wealth, Pierce has amassed a sizeable fortune of his own through his business dealings. He wants for nothing and has access to social circles and events of the super rich.
Weaknesses
Pierce is an uncompromising fanatic. He will seize an opportunity to harm mutants and will not back down unless there is no other choice. Everything else in life is secondary to his crusade.
PUBLIC FIGURE
Pierce is a public figure and so is constrained in what he can do openly. Despite being known as an anti-mutant activist, being known as a violent extremist would be extremely bad for his influence, business and ability to carry out his agenda.
X-TARGET
Pierce has already come to the attention of the X-Men twice, and they are well aware of how dangerous he is and how far he will go. Being a public figure, this means any attempts to move against the X-Men or their allies directly invites direct reprisal.
