Profile
Madison Jeffries is a technological genius, having served in the military, and is a current member of the Canadian Alpha Flight program. His mechanical know-how, is augmented by the fact that he is a mutant, possessing a very highly developed Technokinetic ability that allows him to control, transmute, and possess all technology. He also possesses the power of Technopathy, allowing him to communicate psychically with all machines, basic and advanced, as well as an intuitive ability to invent and design machines.

Madison Jeffries is a tall man, standing 6'1" tall, weighing 195 lbs, with an athletic build that suggests he's a man who sees regular exercise and physical activity. His hair is black, worn neat with the sides shaved, and the top a little longer, but still rather short in a general military style cut. The sides off his hair, at the temples, have gone grey, leaving them a rather shocking white contrast dashing back along the side of his head. He has brown eyes, and often wears a pensive, thoughtful look to him.
History

Madison Jeffries, and his brother Lionel Jeffries were born in Canada, with a regular, normal upbringing and everything considered, a promising future ahead of them. Madison enlisted in the military where he worked as a mechanic, and was sent as part of a task force involved in the Mazikhandar situation where he saw and did things that left him struggling for some time after.
Upon leaving the service, and returning home to Canada he took up a job as a mechanic in the town of Harbordale. Things were on track for his readjustment to normal everyday life, when his PTSD caused his powers to go out of control, resulting in his complete takeover of the town of Harbordale. The Canadian government responded, sending in members of Department H to investigate, those investigators found Jeffries, woke him up, and took him into their care where he was checked into a clinic to get the help he needed.
Sometime later, Jeffries was recruited into Alpha Flight, as a member of the Gamma Flight training group, where he began honing and enhancing his powers, working to help understand and create tech, it was here he started working on the Box robots, eventually creating the living metal variant that allowed one to merge into the armor.
When the crashed spaceship was discovered by the Canadian government, Jeffries was involved in the examination of the tech extensively, his technopathy and similar psychic abilities helped the Canadians begin their ascendance to the stars. He has continued to work with the Alpha Flight group, both in a scientific and technological avenue, as well as a soldier with the assistance of his Box Robot, his technical abilities proving very useful in troubleshooting Alien Tech and operating the spacecraft of Alpha Flight.

Madison Jeffries is a complex man, he is driven, and very work oriented, often pushing himself further then might be healthy, or taking on more projects then he should. This is in part a coping mechanism for his time in Mazikhandar, but also a side effect of his psychic powers, his brain is always working and coming up with new ideas or innovations. When he isn't consumed by his work, Jeffries is a rather likeable man, friendly, outgoing, though can be a bit intense at times, and often has a pragmatic view of things.

FRATERNAL PSYCHIC LINK
Madison Jeffries can psychically sense the presense of his brother Lionel.
INTUITIVE INVENTION
Not unlike the Mutant Forge, Jeffries has an almost intuitive ability to design and create technology, which has the interesting side effect of making his mind almost more machine-like then man, to those capable of telepathic probes. He can create wildly advanced devices, some of the known creations he has shown capable of developing include: Advanced Robots, highly advanced weapons, Box-Bots, an entire Camp. Devices that nullified mutant powers, a version of a Guardian Suit, Time pieces that allowed travel forward and backwards in time, a device that made the wearer immune to telepathic influence, and an amplifier for telepathic abilities that was able to knock out everyone in a 100 foot radius not wearing special earplugs. To say the least, his ability to create is impressive, and is largely only limited by time, creativity, and need.
TECHNOKINETIC TRANSMUTATION
This is the power to psychokinetically manipulate, alter, and restructure all inorganic materials and the living variants he inhabits. The capabilities of this power are vast, allowing him to create just about anything within his imagination, including but not limited to remote control of devices and technological materials even if they are not his own creations. His ability and control is so precise, he can alter materials and devices at the atomic level. With this ability, he can also construct machines that he doesn't know how to create, so long as he is able to touch someone with the knowledge to do so. He is particularly adept at creating technologies that duplicate and enhance the form and functions of the human body.

Jeffries has a fully developed secondary mutation, that of Technopathy, similar to Telepathy, but allowing communication with machines from Artificial Intelligences, to base appliances, giving him the ability to control and utilize even the most unfamiliar devices and tech as a result.

He has received training on the tools and devices used by Alpha Flight, he understands how to operate spacecraft, the principles behind space flight, and a variety of skills one would need to survive in outer space.

ALPHA FLIGHT
Jeffries is a member of Alpha Flight, he has access to their station, their vehicles, and their equipment as needed for missions.
BOX ROBOT
Box is Jeffries robot battlesuit, an incredibly advanced suit of armor that has been tailored specifically for integration with Jeffries abilities. BOX is made of a special 'living metal', something Jeffries has manipulated himself that allows him to easily merge with the suit, and extend his powers beyond the confines of his living suit.
Shapeshifting: Box is specially designed to make use of Jeffries abilities to change its shape, containing adaptive technology, and the special living metal allow it to be altered on the fly for a variety of tasks, growing wings, cannons, drills, and a variety of adaptive sensors. Also, when outside material is available, Jeffries can integrate this matter into his suit, allowing it to grow in size and strength immensely.
Durability: Box is extremely durable, able to withstand intense punishment, resist the depths of the seas, and generally survive, and recover from an incredible amount of damage, with the aid of Jeffries Psionic Abilities.
Flight: Box is capable of reaching orbital velocity, and can comfortably fly in excess of Mach 2 within the confines of earth's atmosphere, able to deploy jets in its boots, or back, supplementing the suit with stabilizers, wings, or larger thrusters. Box is also capable of Space Flight in certain configurations.
Weaponry: Box's standard weaponry is directed energy blasts deployed from the palm, however it can create kinetic weapons, missiles, and similar weaponry, including incredibly powerful energy cannons and devices as needed.
Sensors: The standard sensors available to Box at all times include a wide array of visual and other sensors, as well as advanced tracking devices. It is able to interface with computers, and intercept radio signals. The suite of sensors can be further expanded through Jeffries Psionically enabled shapeshifting.
Operation: Box is designed to be phased into, however the nature of the living metal means it is not suitable for long-term operation, less the operator form a symbiotic tie with the suit and become unable to phase out.
Strength: In its default configuration, Box is capable of lifting in excess of 85 tons. Box can be further augmented through growth and other augmentations to increase its strength to even more phenomenal levels, it's upper limits not yet known.

Jeffries is a prolific inventor, and always has some manner of technology on him, whether advanced weapons, advanced communication, or other technology he has created with his powers. The range of items is vast, and he can usually, with time, reconfigure devices for other purposes.
