Cast of Characters: Polaris, Havok

Polaris has posed:
One day turned into more, and Lorna is growing ever more anxious by the hour. While the venom had been slowly cleansed from her bloodstream, it seemed other, non physical things now troubled her. She had been experiencing extremely vivid nightmares lately, nightmares that left her waking up, screaming.

Fortunately, after a visit from a mysterious young man, she seems to be soundly sleeping this morning.
Havok has posed:
Nothing worries Alex more than when Lorna is in distress. Especially when he can do nothing about it. Physical injuries, bad dreams, and all the things that go with being a mutant that gets into conflicts. If it were rent, utilities, fixing the cupboard, or all the normal stresses of life - That would be a cake walk.
Havok has posed:
He slept in a chair next to her bed for all that passing of time during her nightmares. He got less sleep than she did. But then there was a change and he wasn't even aware of what transpired. This time, when Alex wakes, he finds Lorna sleeping soundly. And he definitely doesn't want to wake her. So he sits there, quietly, watching her sleep. No, not in the super creepy way of a guy watching a girl sleep. But the mildly creepy way of a man who is deeply in love with someone watches the person sleep.
Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane blinks and yawns, slowly stretching her arms as she comes to. Finding Nate gone and Alex still here, she smiles up at him, "Hey handsome, did you stay by my side all night?" she peers around but sees no sign of the telepath. Was it because of him that the nightmares had not returned, however briefly?

"Hmm? Did Dr. Grey leave already?"
Havok has posed:
Finding her waking, Alex will sit upright, even leaning forward then standing up to where he's on her left side. He'll place his hand on her thigh as she stretches. The warmth of his hand penetrating the blanket quite quickly. "For a few days now..." he says quietly with a hint of reservation. "You talking, Jean? I've not seen her. I know Hank has been in and out pretty often."
Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane sighs, rubbing her eyes, trying to climb out of the bed. "I'm tired of sitting around, Hank is being paranoid. I'm fine and ready to go.." she seems suddenly anxious to get out of here. But Lorna must have had a good rest as she seems more energetic this morning.

As for Dr Grey, she shakes her head, "Not Jean herself, but apparently her..Son?" she shrugs, "Yeah, I'm as baffled as you, sounded like he's from an alternate timeline, possibly another experiment of Mr Sinister." the mere thought causes her expression to harden, given how ' friendly ' and 'super not evil' Sinister claims to be these days..
Havok has posed:
Alex was reticent to allow her up, but realizing that she's moving faster and more energetically, he steps back to give her room to rise up. He'll remain within grasping range just in case she's unsteady when she gets to her feet. He'll say, "Well.. alrighty then." Which could be an answer to her ready to go or that Jean has a son. Then he clarifies. "If you're ready, then we TTFN. But I'm curious about Jean's son... He could be like Rachel - from an alternate future. But she's a Summers, not a Grey. So that means for him that his father may not be Scott."
Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane seems stronger than ever and has no problem getting out of the bed. It seems that Nate has helped her at least mentally to get a good night's sleep and much needed rest, while Hank took care of her physically. Hopefully he will give her the all clear as she seems eager to get out right now.

"Where are my clothes? I can't stand wearing these silly nightgowns. I really am fine, no vampire venom, no infection, I feel great!" she smiles, peering around for her clothes. "Hmm, not sure, he just said it's complicated..I'm sure he's still lurking around the school somewhere.l"
Havok has posed:
Alex moves to the 'closet' of the room and pulls it open to reveal her clothing having been washed and pressed. He says, "Here ya go." It's wrapped in plastic as if it was sent out to be laundered properly. He then notes, "And I hope you're hungry." He'll grab the clothing 'bag' off the bar and hand it to her. I'll let Hank know that you're checking yourself out while you change.
Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane chuckles, "Wow, first class service. They must really miss us here." she takes the clothes and does not hesitate to slip out of her gown in front of him. It's not like she has anything to hide and thankfully the room is otherwise empty at the moment. She quickly gets dressed, not sad to discard the nightgown as she slips on her shoes. "Ohh, I'm starved. Can't say I'm a fan of hospital food. What say we grab a burger and blow this joint?" she smirks, that old spark of defiance glinting in her emerald eyes. "Or do you plan to swing by and say hi to your brother first? It really has been a while.."
Havok has posed:
It's not like Alex has never seen her nude before, but there it is - again. He doesn't react. It's just part of the relationship - but he also realizes that by her haste in changing and keeping him engaged, she didn't give him the opportunity to speak with Hank. Perhaps that would have been a bad idea anyway. He grins and shakes his head, "Nah, I'm good. Let's go. But we could totally stop by Harry's for burgers. He's always had the best burgers around."
Polaris has posed:
Lorna Dane hops to her feet, almost too eager and too energetic to be out of here, "Hmm, Harry's sounds good, haven't been in town in a while." she smirks, shaking her head, "Don't worry about Hank, he's way too cautious and paranoid. Besides, Nate looked over my charts already. Heck, even the nightmares seem to have faded.." there is a slightly concerned look in her eyes, and even she is unaware that Nate merely blanked her out so she could get some rest..Things might seem a little too good to be true..Or maybe there was nothing to really worry about to begin with?
Havok has posed:
He'll grab his phone from the table, pocket it, and then open the door to peer out of the room, "The coast is clear. He must be doing rounds somewhere else." and he'll swing the door wide for them both to exit. It'll be an exercise in stealth and covert operations as they exit - avoiding people in hopes of not having to explain ones self and delay the hamburgers.

Then once outside, jump in Alex's jeep, and hit the road for Harry's Hideaway.
