|Description=Kurt Wagner is a lithe man, standing a few inches under six feet tall, but due to his build, he is in a perpetual slouch, bringing him down to about 5'9". Built like a gymnast, he is all lithe muscle and sleek lines, though due to his particular mutation, there are a few extra muscles in his back, giving him an extra bit of limberness. Short, fuzzy blue fur covers the entirety of his body, pointed ears that cause some to say 'elf' and others 'demon', glowing yellow eyes with neither iris nor pupil and a three foot long prehensile tail tipped with a spade. Add in three fingered hands and odd two-toed feet and you have a man that could summon a deep, visceral fear of demons. <br><br>Kurt wears a pair of jeans tailored to his specific needs, a button-down shirt, and a pair of sneakers, again cut and designed for his unique feet. Normally, he does not allow his tail to hang down, just to take care of others' delicate sensibilities.
He has limited abilities to blend into shadows, both as a result of his dark fur and his connection to the light-bending attributes of the Brimstone Dimension
|History=Kurt Wagner was born in Germany to the shapeshifting mutant Mystique and alledgedly Baron Christian Wagner. In reality, his mother had an affair with the demon-like, nigh immortal mutant Azazel. He was to be raised as the Baron's son with all that entailed. The Baron grew suspicious, but before things could be confirmd, he died suddenly. When Kurt was born, his mother lost control of her powers and that, coupled with Kurt's appearance, outed her and brought down a mob. Complete with torches and pitchforks. In the ensuing flight, Mystique sought to save herself, and threw Kurt down a cliff and into the river. There are those that say that his mother did it blindly, and others say that Azazel knew Kurt would be thrown and caught him only to give him to his then current lover, Margali Szardos.<br><br>Kurt did not perish, but survived, and he was found by a traveling circus's fortuneteller Margali Szardos. Kurt was raised with her two biological children, formin positive relationships with them as a family. At the same time, he was trained as an acrobat and began performing in the circus as a young teenager, using his natural agility to the benefit of the circus. As he aged to adulthood, he drew smaller and smaller crowds, the owner of the circus, Herr Getmann planned to sell Kurt. With the help of his foster mother and Armen Freilich, he escaped. Not before accidentally setting the place abaze by spilling a torch. As he was chased into the forest, one of Getmann's goons was about to shoot Kurt i the face when he teleported for the first time, escaping the second angry mob of his short life.<br><br>Two days later, he found himself entering a small church under the care of, ironcly, Father Wagner. He was welcomed and fed and cared for. In exchange, Kurt did manual labor for the church and was happy for a time. One evening Freilich burst into the church, being chased by Getmann's squad of bruisers. The Father attempted to settle things peacefully, but the goons instead lit the church on fire. Kurt teleported Armen to a nearby farm before he returned to deliver a sound thrashing to the Getmann himself. The Father implored Kurt to hold back, and that was the oppertunity the men needed to try and kill Kurt. <br><br>It was at that time, finally, that Xavier showed up and altered the men's memories to believe Kurt dead.<br><br>A few years later, the circus was purchased and Kurt was to be placed in the freak show of the new, American owned show. He left in disgust, returning to Germany. He found his foster brother had murdered some children. He tracked Stephan down and fought with him, accidentally breaking his neck and inciting mob number three. Xavier showed again, psionicly paralyzing the crowd and recruited Kurt into the X-Men and his school.<br><br>Since then, Kurt has lived and worked at the Mansion, at the School, and most importantly, as an X-Men as a living, breathing embodiment of their 'live' code. He not only protects mutants from humans, but also protects humans from mutants that might seek to harm them.
 
|Personality=Kurt Wagner is study in opposites. He is a man of faith, though he appears to be of demonic origin. A man of compassion, though his best friend has the ability to kill without regard. He is a man who is willing to fight for the ideals of peace and to protect others, though the chances are better than even that most would consider his life forfeit.<br><br>He has a love of adventure and can be a bit of an adrenaline junkie. With his powers and physiology, it makes such things easy. A lover of the spontaneous and exciting, he's a big fan of swashbuckling fiction and fancies himself to be such a man as well. Wielding three swords at once doesn't hurt either.<br><br>Kurt also has a 'great' sense of humor. He enjoys joking and pulling harmless pranks. Especially on his closest friends and allies. He has been known to have prank challenges at the school; sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses... but it's always in good fun. (He was also the creator of 'Mutant ball'... no holds barred, all out game of ball where all mutant powers are allowed.)<br><br>Kurt is a devout Catholic. If he is not at the mansion, he is in the Parish church. He celebrates Mass at least twice a week, and is a regular in confession. There was a time when he'd considered studying for the cloth, but he decided against it. If any jewelry can be found on him, it is a small gold crucifix that hangs about his neck.<br><br>Despite his appearance, Kurt is quite charming and plays the gallant well. He is rarely without something appropriate to say, and he is always kind and courteous. Also, he rarely swears. If 'Verdammt'comes out of his mouth, things have gone very badly.

He can remain in a crouched position for a long time and perform contortionist type feats without causing any damage to his spine.<br><br>NIGHT VISION<br>Kurt's glowing eyes grant him exceptional night vision without hampering his ability to see in the light.<br><br>PREHENSILE TAIL<br>His tail is strong enough to not only support his own weight but also lift an adult man completely off the ground. It is deft enough to fight with a sword or other melee weapon.<br><br>SPATIAL AWARENESS<br>Kurt has a very limited subconscious extrasensory ability that prevents him from teleporting himself so that any part of his body would materialize below the surface of the local ground. Because this ability is so limited, however, Nightcrawler will not teleport into any place that he cannot see or has not seen in the past.<br><br>SUPERHUMAN AGILITY<br>Kurt's physiology gives him more agility than any human limits would allow.<br><br>SUPERHUMAN REFLEXES<br>Kurt's reaction time is beyond baseline human limits.<br><br>TELEPORTATION<br>Kurt has the ability to teleport himself, the clothes he is wearing, and within limits a certain amount of additional mass which is in contact with him. He teleports by displacing himself into the Brimstone Dimension, traveling through it, and then returning to his own dimension at a certain distance from his point of departure. He consciously determines his point of return. It is taxing on himself and whoever he takes with him. This makes it an effective combat tactic to grab an opponent and teleport them with him a few times, wearing them out.<br><br>WALL CRAWLING<br>Due to micro suction discs on his hands and feet, Kurt can stick to and climb walls.

He is only a 'first responder' and has no real training after that.<br><br>PILOT<br>Kurt is something of an accomplished pilot; he is more than capable of flying the Blackbird, at any rate. Teleportation gives him that added ability of spacial orientation.<br><br>SOCIAL GRACES<br>Kurt has had training in the social graces. He knows courtly manners, Romani manners, and has exemplary modern manners. he knows his way around a formal meal. He can dance, and he knows proper greetings.<br><br>Kurt speaks English, German, Romani, Japanese and French fluently.<br><br>SWORSMANSHIP<br>Kurt is an expert fencer. He is equally comfortable wielding one blade, one in each hand, or one in both hands and one with his tail. He can do this flat on the ground or while sticking to walls at odd angles.
 
|Resources=BAMFS<br>Five blue fuzzy balls of 'bamf'. These little guys are about 2' tall, and look almost exactly like Kurt only in chibi form. They're little naked imps with prehensile tails that can teleport (and unlike Kurt, can teleport blindly). More often than not, they're at Kurt's beck and call, and only Kurt truly understands what it is they're saying when they speak. They're very intelligent and have been known to steal things like toasters, hair dryers and such, only to make dimension portals with the parts. If something is missing, the chances are good that one of the bamfs took it.<br><br>SWORDS<br>Kurt has a collection of blades. Most are fencing weapons. He does know how to use them.<br><br>XAVIER'S SCHOOL<br>As a staff member and member of the X-Men, Kurt has access to the facilities and equipment on the premises of the school, including mundane vehicles, access to the Danger Room and occasional rides on the Blackbird.

|Weaknesses=FAITH<br>Kurt's devout faith can be used against him. He does not like to hurt people if he can manage it, and he will go out of his way to protect others even if it endangers him. Mocking acts and rampant blasphemy will engage his temper as well, making him act foolishly.<br><br>NEYAPHEM<br>Kurt is part Neyaphem, a mutant with demon blood. He cannot take the blood of a Cheyarafim (healing blood of an Angel.. Warren, looking at you!). If their blood was mixed, Kurt would be in a great deal of pain and/or torment.<br><br>NON-LETHAL<br>Kurt will not take a life, nor will he allow one taken in his name or in his cause. He believes that all life is sacred and that all souls can be saved up until that point of dying. Because of this, he will pull his punches and do what he can to incapacitate rather than kill.<br><br>PHYSICAL<br>Kurt, for all his speed, agility and powers is no tougher or enduring than the average incredibly fit human being. Bullets and blades will make him bleed. He can be hurt and killed just like anyone else. If you can catch him.
