Owner Pose
Tony Stark     "Pepper... Pepper..." The voice is heard across the length and breadth of the penthouse, amplified by the electronic modulation of the sound system, and at such a high fidelity that one can even hear the slightly plaintive tone in it as its owner calls out almost with a hint of the forlorn to it.
    "Pepper?"
"Jarvis is she even here?" Tony says as he turns his head, lying on the upside down incliner gravity chair, his ankles locked in place with his back angled down at roughly forty degrees.
    << She is, sir. >>
    "Pepper..."
    "Pepper..."
    "Pepper?"
    "Are you sure, Jarvis?"
<< Indeed, sir. Perhaps you should exercise what I am told is a virtue known as patience, sir? >>
"Hush it or I'll make you mine bitcoin for the next three days."
<< Indeed. Hushing it, sir. >>
Pepper Potts Pepper was currently busy counting. Not how many times she heard her name called. She was in the process of going over some financial spreadsheets and crunching the numbers in her head instead of using the calculator on the tablet she was reading from. Why? Because she could. Besides, it was annoying to have the calculator open at the same time as the documents.

She did hear him. She even started walking that direction from the balcony where she had been enjoying a cup of coffee along with the fresh air. As fresh as the air could get in New York City. This high up, it was very nice and the view was spectacular. Nothing but the best for Tony Stark. Why was she there on a Saturday morning? Because often on his Friday nights, there was some trash to be taken out of the apartment. Or at least a companion he needed to get rid of after a shared night. Not that they were all trash. Just enough were that it sort of was stuck in her head now.

He might hear her heels just before she arrived, coming through the antechamber and finally appearing just inside the bunker. And once there, she finally lifted her head to focus. She'd made the trip so many times, she hadn't even needed to look to keep from bouncing off walls or doorframes.

Which brought him into view and she blinked. Twice. "You summoned? Repeatedly?"
Tony Stark     She saw his upside down smile and for a moment she might get the vibe he was about to simply say, 'Just checking'. But thankfully she would not suffer a repeat of that performance. Instead he sat up a little, the pseudo-zero-gravity chair creaked slightly as he straightened and he sat up, undoing the straps around his ankles. First one... then the other. And once that was done he rolls out of the contraption and hops to his feet.
"Tell me something to keep me on the side of the good guys. I got this weird vibe to monologue and am tempted to change my name to somethiing ominous. Like Terror Storm. Or Fire Iron. Or Death Spank." He pauses, "Maybe not that last one. But seriously, I have been struck with something akin to inspiration and if it pans out then I might be able to afford to give you a raise."
A beat as he nods and lets that settle in. "Maybe even a Christmas goose, I'm feeling generous."
Pepper Potts "It's August. Perhaps a bit early to be counting your Christmas geese," she responded immediately as she waited there. Always just out of the way in case he got a random thought and put his various robots to work suddenly. She'd lost a shoe due to that once.

"Though I believe Fire Iron may be taken already, I can look into it for you." She tapped at her tablet as though she was sending out the inquiry that instant but then looked back at him. "The good news is profits are up since last quarter. I think we have recovered in the press from that incident in Bermuda." She didn't explain further what incident. He knew. Oh did he know. "So that's some good news. Though we seem to be spending more in security and I'm not sure why admittedly. We've made no significant changes in the department to merit the rise in spending."

Then she paused and tilted her head ever so slightly. "I can look into it further unless you have some insight. And is this helping or do I need to try a different topic to curb your descent into villainy?"
Tony Stark     Tony starts to take a breath as a hint of a nod begins in answer to her question, only for him to abruptly stop and tilt his head to the side. "Ye-no. Wait... nope. I'm past it." He says as he nods, mainly to himself. Then he looks askance toward her, "But I've hit on something that could pay back dividends almost immediately."
He seemms about to explain more, but then he lifts his chin. "Is Hank Pym around these days? Still in jail in Tijuana or did he get out?"
He looks down, "Wait, did we bail him out? I'm starting to question my memories."
Pepper Potts "We did bail him out. And the good news is the charges were dropped though he is required to register with the Tijuana authorities should he visit again and have Pym particles in his possession," Pepper explained as she tapped at the screen, glancing to it to be sure she had the right information.

"He is in town at this time. I can try to get an appointment for you, if you would like? Or you could just go visit since I understand that is something friends do from time to time," she hinted with a little smirk. Then it was gone a moment later.

"I presume you will tell me about this idea when the time is right?"
