Owner Pose
Billy Cranston It was a Sunday night, the Angel Grove Youth Centre was quiet, with Ernie gone home for the day, and Trini Kwan having been given the keys to lock up, as she, Billy, and the rest of the gang were trusted regulars. They were still out on the mats, with Billy wearing what could only be described as gymnastics gear. Trini had been trying to help improve his flexibility, and as such, they were having a gymnastics day. But he was very Billy like, and just didn't have the same aptitude as she. When he tried to touch his toes, he felt a massive burn in his legs. When he tried to do the splits, it was, well, it just didn't happen. He was many things, but Jean-Claude Van Damme was not one of them. "Are you quite certain that this will improve my cardiovascular calibration and rehabilitation, Trini?" He asked, as he was currently on the balance beam, looking like he was going to fall at any moment.
Trini Kwan     Trini brought up the idea for a gymnastics day for him, and she dressed in a pair of yellow yoga pants with a matching crop top. She's got her hair in a ponytail and a yellow sweatband around her head. She's able to do splits and what have you with ease, each time managing a little bit of a laugh and encouraging him. She answers his question while keeping her hands by him to help him balance in case he tries to fall. "Of course. You may not get it the first time but, you know, with practice your body will eventually become used to it." A pause. "Think of it like... Well, like your body is a machine and it just needs to get used to the commands. The more you train it, the better practiced it will be."
Billy Cranston Trini was so good at explaining things to Billy, or translating what he had to say to others. "The human body is just a complex biomechanical system, with a series of hinges, joints, and internal lubricants, which facilitate a range of motion." It would be so much easier to build an android that could do this, but he was trying to do it himself. "I don't think I'll ever achieve your level of flexibility, but I can try to close the gap with effort and persistence. Just as my martial arts training has come along." He was smiling and laughing as she had him do another move. He wasn't a total wreck, just most of one at this.
Trini Kwan     Trini knows just how to translate for him and also to get him to understand things on a practical level. "Right right!" She exclaims happily. "Just like a machine." She reassures him. "Effort and persistence. That's what you need. You can get there, to be really flexible. It just takes effort and persistence... and time. Yes, some more than others but... time will tell." She gets him to do another move, which is basically like a very slow, standing side kick, holding her foot forward and then turning it out towards the side and upwards.
Billy Cranston When Billy tried to replicate her move, he actually did achieve it. He did it faster than her, but stood, did the side kick, held his foot forward, and turned towards the side, and upwards. The difference being that she was on the mat covered floor, and he was on a balance beam... with predictable results.

He lost his balance, went flying, and landed on the cushioned pads, hitting his right side, which was now a little sore. He began to rub it on the ground, "ouch, I seem to have misjudged my trajectory."
Trini Kwan     Trini's eyes widen, and suddenly she's trying to move to catch Billy but he's already fallen onto the mats. She bites her bottom lip. "Err. So sorry. I should've had you do something else." She leans down to offer her hand, hoping he'll take it so she can help him up. "We can be done for the day if you want. That... pretty much was it after that."
Billy Cranston "No, no, it's okay, I want to try, I almost had it this time. I feel confident that a second time would prove to be a superior result." He was about to get up onto the balance beam again, with the help of her offered hand, but his hip was aching, and she was suggesting that they might call it a day. "Well, it is getting rather late, and I'm sure Ernie doesn't want us being here all night."
Trini Kwan     Trini winces when it seems like he's in pain, and nods her head a few times in understanding. "Here... Here come sit down with me by the bar and we can rest for a few moments and then... then get outta here. I'll close up." She moves to start leading him towards the stools and guiding him to a seat, if he would let her.
Billy Cranston He wasn't that badly hurt, just stung. It was one of those things he could power through if need be. Were the Putty Patrollers or another of Rita Repulsa's henchmen to attack, he'd morph, he'd fight, and he'd take Tylenol and ice packs later to recover. But since it wasn't an emergency, he could afford to be a baby about it. "Thanks Trini, but I'll be okay, I really will." He did accept her help in getting to the bar, where he sat and relaxed a moment.
Trini Kwan     Trini smiles to him, giving him a loving gaze and nodding her head in understanding. She then offers, "Can I get you anything?" Since the place is open, the kitchen is still open and she knows her way around it. "I could make you a milkshake. Could make your favorite. Blueberry. Would you like that?" She then asks, remembering from a few nights before. "You've been keeping to schedule, and eating your Mother's dinner and stuff, right?"
Billy Cranston It was sweet how Trini looked after him, "Trini, I'm not that bad." He laughed some, and leaned in, slipping an arm around her to give her a hug, "but it means a lot to me that you care so much." She wasn't wrong. He did forget things like food when he was working on an invention, but he had been improving since she came round his garage that night. "I promise, I've been eating."
Trini Kwan     Trini looks so... touched when he says it means a lot and she nods her head a little. She leans into him and rests her head on his shoulder. "Good. Good, Billy." She shifts her head to glance up at him. "I don't mean to sound Motherly I just... want to make sure you're taking care of yourself. Don't want to see you lose focus, or anything. Just... Just stay on the path you're on, okay?"
Billy Cranston Billy enjoyed the contact when she leaned her head on his shoulder. He slipped an arm around her, letting go when she shifted to look up at him, "Trini, you care about me, and I care about you. We care about each other. We are simpatico. Thank you, it means a lot to me, and I promise I won't lose focus. I... believe that the path I am on, that we are on, is a good one, and I do not wish to deviate from it."
