Logan | Continued after H is for Hunt Part 1. Nick Spends a small amount of time following the car. Good news, no one really expect to be trailed by a bird. They drive to the industrial distract and pull into a Warehouse. There's a practiced motions to get into the building thanks to various locks, barriers and even a gate. Pulling into t he building it's not empty as much as it is unused. Right now all that's inside is a whiteboard, a simple table with some plans over it and unmarked phones, probably burners. Taking a look from a perch on high, Nick can see the board -just- right. No need to risk being seen by moving closer since he can see, and hear, everything of use. The white board has a row of photos around each outer edge. There are a couple of photos on the board. Each photo is a mutant. Nick may not be know who they are, but he can memorize the faces with -some- clarity. First is a woman with green hair and nearly matching green eyes (Lorna Dane), a pair of photos punched together a blonde woman that looks professional in professional suit. She wears a serious face. Right next to that photo is a woman with blue skin and red hair (Raven Darkholme), a blonde gentleman with a stern look on his face and a chiseled jawline (Alex Summers), and the photos just continue. Scott Summers, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, and a variety of others. Each photo is surveillance seeing them about somewhere. A photo of Rogue lingers on the inside. On the inside of the white board is Logan, with an "X" over his photo. "We're waiting for Xcutioner's mission status," the woman in the red suit begins and she looks toward her counterparts. She goes to grab her phone. "How do we hit Club Evolution?" she asks the group. The blonde man with the trimmed beard looks about, "Depends. Do we want noisy or do we want quiet. Noisy. Implosion, cause the club to cave in on itself and hopefully crush most of the bugs inside," he looks toward the group. The father son combo are grinning like it's Christmas morning with that idea happens. "Hit those that run out with bolos, nets, and fresh hunt," Father speaks up. "We could always get some silencers. Pop-pop, dead muties. Sell them to Science or anyone on the black market that wants a really ugly rug," and the only person behind this part of the idea is the Father's son. Everyone gives a look that just reads, he would join the mutants if he even considered this idea any further. By this time one of the burner phones go off. The woman goes up to it, "Winter," she says. The first time anyone got a name. "Oh! Really?!" excitement oozes off of her voice. Seconds later that joy plummets, "They got him? Understood." |
Nick Drago | The time spent flying after the vehicle wasn't just pent following. As they continued on, the bird took note of memorable landmarks along the way. Once it appeared they got to their destination, Phantasm particularly took note of the street they were heading down. The poor widdle bird is not all that noticeable. The dark feathers do allow for him to position himself just so to hide in the shadows, centering himself on the beam near an adjacent support structure. He's not entirely sure what's about to go on or what they're up to but he sure as heck intends to find out. Just remember. No interference. Just observe. Settled in place, the bird sneaks a peek below. His attention initially going to the whiteboard. While he may not recognize a few of them, he certainly recognizes Scott, Emma, Rogue and - There's a pause as the photo of Logan is 'X'ed out. Phantasm's got a strong suspicion that these people might be more closely related to that thing in the woods involving the cross now than initially suspected. There's not much time for him to linger on the photos as the conversation takes up a bit more of his interest. Mentioning a club he's appeared at before can do it. Oh Sam's not going to like this. |
Logan | Winter hangs up the phone and she sighs, "We lost Xcutioner. Something about a Stonemancer swallowing him in the sidewalk. "But we gained something, too," and then they grab the photo of Rouge. She's placed inside the whiteboard. "So. New business. What do we do with our Southern Belle?" "Southern Bitch is more like it. My bodies have talked about what kinda pain in the ass she is. Ever since hit fuzzubcket up there," the big man nods at Logan. "Like hs'e some demented older, or little, brother or some shit." The big guy's quiet for a bit. "Careful Brawn, we cannot let personal feelings cloud what happens," Winter soothes. "We can let personal feelings mold an idea. How should we decorate her when we're done Brawn, think on that," Winter says and this keeps Brawn quiet, but with a smile. He's not quite a mountain of a man, but a guy that looks a stone with feet and arms, metaphorically speaking, probably packs a punch. "She's a Chip," the man in the black gear speaks. "We can use her to get Xcutioner back," he poses. The logical choice, an eye for an eye, so to speak. "Do we need him? Isn't that suit more important? Not the man that makes the costume, but the idea," Brawn's son proposes. Winter will pause before saying, "Table that. She could be leverage after we're done with her. Our files talk about the connection with Raven. Maybe we can use that," she muses. |
Nick Drago | The bird's head tilts inquisitively to the new information. Although due to the positioning and the effort to remain quietly hidden, there's not much chance to get a direct answer. But the thoughts are there nontheless. Rogue? How the fuck did they get her? The general allusions to what they intend to do with Rogue leaves only a little bit to the imagination. Considering how Rogue described how she found Logan, Phantasm could fill in the blanks. Remember. Just observe. Bu- Get the information needed first. Also unless they're going to bring Rogue to this particular location in the next few minutes there's not much else TO do. |
Logan | "How did we get her?" Brawn asks as he's curious about that. "Heroes are not always the brightest. Let's not question how. Let's question what she can bring us. We'll still take a sample of her blood. We may be thinking too small there. "That's equally valuable to the world of science as it is magic." Brawn's son scoffs at the notion of magic. "Even one of history's great leaders had 'The Black Forces,'" and the man will speak, "Um einen Teufel zu toten, muss man wie einer kampfen." "Boys. Enough," Winter drawls. The blood is obvious, but how do we send a warning. We don't want to kill them. That will start a war. One of them will become a Martyr then the misguided heroes will come down on us due to their confusion," Winter steeples her hands together. "How do we get the community to fear their superiors? That's the question." |
Nick Drago | Ok. So focus, they want a sample of Rogue's blood. While not certain as to the why, Phantasm could garner from past experience it was to make something. Serum? Drugs? Whatever the product, there's a reason they have to obtain a sample by force. Whatever it is, it is not legal nor ethical. Buuuut when you're abducting mutants to crucify them, they're already pretty much beyond the turn around point for being decent people. The blurb of German gets a bit of pause as the bird tries to parse together what he can. To kill...you fight? Ok it would help to know more words than that. Maybe he can ask Sinister later... if it seems important with the context. There's a general urge to go flying down there to beat the hell out of the group gathered below. But that wouldn't really do for getting more information. And right now there is need for more information. They were straight up talking about murdering mutants earlier and now one of them is saying that they don't want to kill them. So...what is it they're exactly planning? Do they even know themselves or are they just winging this in their youth of Hitler mindsets? |
Logan | "I know what we can do with Southern Fried Bitch. Once we get everything we want. Give a memento to lure out blue skin. They go back. Some form of loyalty has to be there, especially if danger is involved," granted this is a presumption onBrawn's part, and a big one. The intel may not be the most up to date. "Then we just return her to sender. Gift wrapped. Like we did with fuzzball, but I got some new ideas. Without Xcutioner, we don't need to ge tall churchy with it like he did," so Nick knows who had more of a direct hand of stringing up Wolverine to a cross. It's no one here, but they know who did. "We should rally with the others. We're meeting at the third. Time might be against them so we need to move. We need to figure out Evolution's fate, but that's the best way to flush them out," Winter tells her group as they go to get the burners, but leave the white board. Now Nick has a choice. He could either warn friends about an attack coming. Or he can risk getting more intel, while possibly being too late to give others the element of surprise. What is his choice? |
Nick Drago | Dammit. Decisions here. There's talk of rallying and meeting at another location for an attack upon the club. But there's a potential for this third location to have Rogue. The whiteboard sits there enticingly but as the group moves to collect their phones, the phantasm fades from view. Switching to a less visible form, he pushes off, floating up through the roof of the warehouse to fly over to a nearby building's roof. Obscured by the construction he shifts, the shadow of a hand reaching into more shadow before he pulls out his own burner. There's a flurry of key presses before he sends off a text message. With the message sent, he shifts back before catching a dream back to mutant town. Sam's not going to be happy. Off over at the Lux, a particular doctor's phone gets a message. 'Rogue's been abducted. Can you find her?' |
