Superman has posed:
The Moving Heart Studio. Otherwise called the "The Trendy Heart" Studio, Moving Heart, Trendy Heart or simply "The Heart." Depending on who you ask. It's another early evening. The sun has yet to go down. Oranges do wash over the land. A fall chill runs through the area. It explains why someone outside the studio, a curious passerby, is wearing a long coat and a hat.

It doesn't explain how the curious passerby is joined by another person with a hat and long coat. And a third. Nor does it explain how they all have red eyes that glow in the shadows from the hat. Something is very unnormal about this trio.

A flash of light grey light with bits of white lightning dancing about the light. When the light fades there stands a figure in a very light gray uniform, that can be confused for white, standing there. They have boots, a type of vest armor that bears a circle and a giant "Z" in the center. The face is an earthy gray. At a glance their forearms downward look like a formation of gray rocks woven tightly together into hands.

More flashes of light follow and there's three more.

Upon this the trio of watchers toss aside their gear, it's more of them.

Seven Putties stand there at the studio watching those inside. They push forward helping themselves to the studio, the occupants. A small class that's just about to get out. Most begin to scream. A few calls go out to the cops. It's enough chatter to catch some unwanted attention from a robotic ward with a high pitched voice and the guardian they serve.
Pink Ranger has posed:
Kimberly might be a olympic-level gymnast, but with that came more work than just the benefits of some alien superpowers...it took effort and excercise. Plus...well, she really enjoyed a little yoga with the girls while she was travelling, though she was lingering towards the back and chatting when those first signs of danger caught her attention.

Screaming? Panic? Putties...perfect timing as always.

By the time the communicator was beeping? She was already ducking back into the change room, a quick check in the stalls before she was slipping out the back window.

Wriggling her way out, there was never quite as much glitz and glamour in this superhero thing as one hoped.

Smudges and small tears on her yoga outfit her reward, Kim none-the-less draws her morpher from the pocket of her hoodie she'd worn as she'd been on her way out.

"It's Morphin' time!"
Superman has posed:
Putties push forward and aren't dissuaded. They're here for a purpose and a reason.

"Oooooh'lilooooh," one of the putties makes and approaches those. This one has a blade that emerges from the stony formation instead of a hand. Ceramics can be hardened to handle space ships. It can be fashioned to sweapons. This would be a lot like a ceramic weapon.

One of the ones with hands tries to grab a high schooler. Someone older. They're trying not to harm the person, but take them.

The putties will only stop until a flash of bright light and a hero would step up. Until that point they're focused on the mission, whatever that is.

Once a ranger shows up, there's a pause. And almost like a hive mind, the putties look toward the sight.

"Oooooh'lilooooh," one of the putties calls out then the group tries to swam. Overrun with numbers. That's the plan at least. Things rarely go to plan!
Pink Ranger has posed:
Dealing with putties was literally a 'pretty much bread and butter' moment for the Rangers, but that didn't mean one should get cocky. Kimberly had become a hell of a fighter between her experience and training with Tommy, not to mention the influence of the grid, but enough numbers could overwhelm anyone.

Still, fight smarter, not harder.

A flash of pink light and her power bow was in her hands, the Pink Ranger drawing the string back to manifest the energy arrow and send it sailing towards the head of one of the putties trying to kidnap the civillains.

"C'mon putties! Let's see what you've got!"
Superman has posed:
"THWACK!" the energy strikes the one puttie in the head. It slowly rises up like a zombie, then the group try to rush her. The Zed armor does make them tougher. However, there is a pretty large flaw. It's right on the center of their chest.

The one with the bladed arm tries to stab at the Pink Ranger, while another two try to tackle her. A simple side step, or jump, could avoid it all. However, the follow through would be up to the ranger.

At least they're no longer focused on others.
Pink Ranger has posed:
Maybe she'd beat them, whittle them down to manageable numbers through speed and evasion (and arrows) or maybe she'd hold out long enough that the other Rangers would teleport in to demolish the enhanced mooks.

Hell, she'd fought alongside enough other heroes not to count out backup from others outside her team too.

Twisting, weaving, she springs over the tackle with all the grace she was known for before inverting her hand for the next draw, summoning a pair of arrows to her bow and letting both fly at the tackling pair.

So far, so good, she just had to be a bright pink distraction while all the bystanders escaped.
Superman has posed:
"THWACK!" "THWACK!" She hits each Z on their chest armors. That bright grey light from before surrounds these putties. They lift off the ground. That light turns brighter, a brief flash, suddenly each arm and leg break away from the base of these putties. And the five pieces fly off as if getting summoned back to space. They cause no damage, but they're gone completely.

This does not deter the rest. The one with the blade tries an upward aslh in vein, that misses. Three others wait for her to land before they try to go in fro wild punches. Just trying to hit any part of the ranger. All are trying to stop them.
Pink Ranger has posed:
It was a game of hit and run, Kimberly forced to block, duck, retreat and move rather than just power through.

It might look a little frantic, but thankfully it was a game that Kimberly was pretty good at!

Parrying a slash with her bow, the power weapon holds firm before its hardened limb slams into the head of one creature and then she twists around to deliver a swift kick to the 'Z' chest plate of another, shattering it.

It's a window a little too long and one putty manages a solid hit that sends her staggering for a moment, lamenting her carelessness for a second before she raises her guard once more.

Mistakes happen, time to focus up!
Superman has posed:
Once that "Z" is hit, the light eminates around the puttie. It too breaks apart flying off like the two before it. Four left, included the one with the blade. Two of the three putties with regular, or enlarged, hands are barreling down on her. Just trying to get more blows in.

Suddenly the blows stop and the one with the blade comes in with a thrust toward Kimberly.

The fourth that stayed back tries to do a follow up, but somehow trips. The creature lands prone and almost self-destructs itself. Still, a simple strike could save this thing the embarassment.
Pink Ranger has posed:
"Too slow!" Kimberly offers as that stab comes in, a sweep low sending it soaring over her head, but she wasn't done, a strike of her leg and a guide from her other foot throwing the creature into the air in a judo-like motion intending to send it crashing down on the putty that was already laying prone.

Momentarily on her back, the Pink Ranger would 'kip-up' to her feet, a little kiah from her lips before she lifted her hands in a guard.

Hey, maybe she'd have this wrapped up before the others even got here!
Superman has posed:
The two putties collide Z-to-Z and there's a bunch of bright light. The duo break apart going flying off ot space. This now leaves two left. Sensing they were outnumbered, the puties back off.

The white light fills the room and the two putties are gone. The Pink Ranger is alone, but there is a grateful studio full of people she just saved.

Only one question may remain: What were they watching for?

At least Kimberly took out the group before the others could even show up.
Pink Ranger has posed:
A breath, the power bow was sent back to the grid as she looked around, a frown on her lips behind the shroud of her helmet as she looked about.

If this had been for her, surely she would have been ambushed, the first person grabbed...this was just confusing, but there wasn't going to be any answers given by putties, who were notoriously unconversational.

Reaching to lift her wrist she keyed her communicator, signalling the command center.

"Zordon, Alpha...all clear here, but it looked like they were trying to grab people from Starling and I have no idea why."
