Date of Scene: 06 August 2024
Location: Backyard - Xavier's School
Synopsis: Logan and Storm have food and talk outside the mansion.
Cast of Characters: Storm, Wolverine

Storm has posed:
The sun is out and shining bright, the air's a bit on the warm side but nothing too terrible. Storm is sitting out on a lawn chair relaxing - as there's not much to do since school's not quite in session yet. There's word around the halls that some new and old faces have sprung up thanks to a recent run in with creatures from the depths but for the moment at least - they've been taken care of.

Out of the medbay and into the sun, Storm takes no time to getting back into the things she enjoys doing. Like she was just doing them yesterday. Or something. Either way, she might try to talk the resident barbeque master to grill up some food - if she can find him that is.
Wolverine has posed:
An acoustic guitar solo carries its way out into the garage. "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains on a bluetooth speaker. Logan's tolling away at a drafting table. Right now, he's working on schematics. It's something far down the line, but planning leads to supplies and supplies leads to building. All of this is part of the process.

As for the "grill master" someone could call him over a comlink. However, a decently warm day with some degree of quiet. He does go hunting for a beer. On this hunt, there's a detour as he will look outside. A grunt will go toward Storm, "Makin' sure the weather is good fer the water?" he knows everyone appreciates a Summer day that shares Spring's temperatures. Plus, Storm can make a fool of the weatherman, or make them insanely accurate. All up to what she wants the skies to do that day.

He lingers in the entryway, but eventually Logan steps out. The pool has some temptation, so does a heavily iced cooler and a couple of glass bottles. The ocean blue eyes devour details.
Storm has posed:
Storm has no idea that Logan's been in the garage, aside from the fact that by the time he's by her side, she can smell the faint tinge of oil and gas - even if one isn't working on a car - spend enough time in the garage and the stench sort of lingers. She glances over to the man who is in some of her sunlight and gives a little smile. "I promise this weather isn't my doing... but since Mother Nature decided to play nice I figured I would enjoy it." She offers this and then shifts to sit up some. "Course. Day like today. Would be nice to have some burgers. Maybe hot dogs? Might even bring some of the ones inside outside to get a little sun themselves..." Watching him watch her as she smiles a little brighter before settling back against her chair again.
Wolverine has posed:
Both of his brows raise and lower in a surprised motion. He can't argue with a good coincidence. And there comes the pitch. The eyes narrow a little bit, grumbling, Logan retreats to the mansion. "How many burgers do you want?" Logan's not going to try to argue. Because he can see how the argument will go. It's a mixture of perspective, kindness and fair points. No real wrong side. He will see what can be scrounged up inside the kitche. The mansion always has a little bit of everything, even if there really isn't a plan for it. Like even the fridge is perpetually prepared for anything to happen, much like its owners.
Storm has posed:
"Two. With cheese!" Storm calls back as Logan takes off to go get things he would need to grill to satisfy Storm's appetite. She then chuckles and stands from her lounge chair, walking to the edge of the pool and jumps up as if to fly before she dives smoothly into the water. Like a knife through butter.
Wolverine has posed:
Moments tick by and Logan comes back with a pate of various burgers aomd some hot dogs. Also, in his hands are a bag of buns and some cheese slices ina plastic baggy. He goes up to the grill and begins to prep. Those ocean blue eyes slip to the pool as Storm makes herself at home in the water.
Storm has posed:
Storm takes a few laps around the pool before moving to climb out and walks over towards the grill while wringing out her hair. "How's it all looking, Logan?" Asking this, staying an arms length away since she's still dripping wet from the swim.
Wolverine has posed:
A shrug comes from Logan, "They just started. It'll be quick once the grill really starts goin'," he admits and looks toward her. "How quickly do ya think others are gonna show up once the smell of meat hits the air?" Logan smirks as everything starts to almost hiss with the sizzle of the meat hitting the ever increasing heat of the metal.
