Just Grabbing a Few Things

Location:	Staff Meeting Hall - Xavier's School
Synopsis:	Alex was taking the research that he and Lorna had been working on for their PhD in Geophysics. So they can resume work on it. He was caught by Emma.

Havok has posed:
Alex is in the Staff Meeting Room with a duffel bag. He was never one to pack properly. Especially when it comes to the important things. The duffel is on a table and he's walking from a side desk to that table carrying various papers, folders, and a few rocks, handfulls at a time. Currently Alex is wearing sneakers, jeans, and a black t-shirt that is tight across his chest. Likely unstable molecules because he's always getting into trouble and that's the safest thing to wear for him.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost Lifts an eyebrow as she walks into the room her eye's looking over what's going on as she cocks her head " What are you doing alex?" She asks she could read his mind but that would be rude and she is trying not to make enemies in the school righ tnow .

Havok has posed:
Alex turns from depositing the contents into the duffel. He doesn't have the expression that he's doing something wrong, instead, he simply seems to be 'gathering'. He answers in a friendly tone, "Oh, hey Emma. I'm grabbing my research. Since Lorna and I have been living in Mutant Town... well, we've got a lot of time and we need to get this crap done so we can finish our PhD." He turns, walks back to the desk and grabs a few more folders and stacks.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost Nods her head as she walks over to the expresso machine she brought to the school for herself and starts to do the process to make a shot of course she's using tk for alot of it floating the beans to the grinder and getting the devices ready .. She looks over " That makes sense.. what phd were you two going for again?' She ass trying to be friendly

Havok has posed:
"Geophysics. We've been working on it a bit longer than we should have been. Too many interruptions and dealing with bullshit supervillains. I'm sure you know how it is - with the interruptions, that is.". He grins as he walks back and puts stuff in the duffel. He wasn't intending to imply she was a bullshit supervillain. But that interruptions happen.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost Snickers and nods " yeah I know , heros can be a pain too always stopping you in the middle of doing something " She retorts but with humor.. as she measures and weights the grinds making sure it's exact before she puts it into he machine to start to brew.. even adds a cute of frozen cream..

Havok has posed:
He offers a segue and the opportunity to talk about her. "How's it been around here? Lorna and I've not been here for a few months and... well, nothing really seems to have changed. How about you?" He takes another stack, puts a few rocks on top of it, and walks it over to the duffel. He's about done with the loading at this point.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost Looks over " Oh you know how things are..some people still think I'm a villian some see me as what I'm trying to be " She smiles ' I've been helping my girls settle in mostly and teaching the kids "

Havok has posed:
He zips the duffel bag up and as he slings it, looks over to Emma. He intones, "Yeah, you're not the villain in this story."

He's serious and there's a hint of annoyance at someone else in this house. There's been a lot of drama with people against Lorna - and Alex takes it personally. He continues, "But people have to distract from their own true nature by pointing fingers at others."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost Smiles brightly and chuckles " That's okay I'm a big girl.. I know as long as the powers that be know too it's all okay " she smiles ' I'm here for the kids I don't really care what others think " She grabs her cup and has a sip and gives a happy sigh

Havok has posed:
Alex will wink with a grin and a nod. The bag over his shoulder he starts walking toward the exit, "Emma.. It's good to hear that." and he'll exit the room, heading toward the exit of the mansion and his Jeep so that he can return back to his and Lorna's apartment.
