Cast of Characters: Faith Lehane, Spike

Faith Lehane has posed:
The magic box has just closed to the public, leaving a bored Faith lurking in the restricted section, having found a stash of expensive alcohol which she is sampling while peering at all the cool ancient artefacts.

Of course, there are now wards set up around the restricted items, including the newest addition - a grimoire recently re-acquired from the magic using vampires.

Not much of a book reader, Faith is at least enjoying looking at the colorful pictures as she listens to music on her smart phone, turned up way too high.
Spike has posed:
From beneath you it consumes. OK. Not really. Instead from beneath the streets Spike arrives in the sewer manner and enters the basement through a grate. How it doesn't smell throughout the Magic Box is anyone's guess.

At first he pilfers a few things in the basement. Nothing really powerful ro overly valuable. Instead of taking it, he puts it in a small pile near the grate, easily taken as he leaves.

He frowns darkly when he realizes he hears music coming from upstairs. Not out on the street, but literally in the building. He narrows his gaze a little and starts up the stairs. He pauses to look around the building and his eyes fall on the book as well,"Bloody hell?" he asks darkly. He divides his attention between the sound and the book, lingering his eyes on the book even as his feet carry him more towards the source of the music.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane is alone - or so she thinks. And she she has the music on full blast and is dancing to the beat while taking frequent sips of vodka straight from the bottle.

Well to be fair, Giles did want them to do occasional night patrols of the restricted section especially with baddies out hunting fir the grimoire. Plus she's kiiinda doing homework, if looking at graphic pictures of gross demons counts. She doesn't actually hear Spike sneaking in even if he probably has a spare key..

But she does sense something and grabs a stake from the table, pausing and peering around, turning down the music a bit. "Yo whose there?"
Spike has posed:
There is a distinct springy clinking sound, the sound of metal grinding a striker, a quiet moment, and then the clink of metal on metal. Spike walks into view with a fresh cigarette dragging and placing his Zippo in his pocket. He exhales slowly and lets the smoke partially obscure his feature for a moment and then steps into the light,"Not the slayer I was expecting, but not exactly a bad thing either." he comments. His thick, Cockney accent passes between the two,"Can't say I ever picked you for the book crowd."
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane rolls her eyes, relaxing only slightly at the sight if Spike. "Geeez, ever heard of using a door?" she wrinkles her nose, setting the stake back down on the table. "So sorry to disappoint..What, were you hoping for a romantic night with B? It ain't no secret you got the hots for her."

She sounds amused as she turns back to the book. "So what, they got you on the next shift? Or are we gonna relax now that they got wards set up that actually work far as I know?"
Spike has posed:
A soft snort and Spike shakes his head. After taking another drag he pulls the cigarette from his mouth and exhales before shaking his head,"Not so much. Everyone knows I have that for her, she's just made it clear she won't play along. Life is hard then you die. It doesn't always make things different."

He rolls his eyes and then looks over at the book,"That the new bit you lot think is so bloody hot that it needs a babysitter then? Scuttle around the bad things says they had it once and you got it back." He shakes a finger in mock shame,"Two slayers and they still took it?"

He takes a drag from his cigarette and then shrugs,"I can sit on it for a while if you want to catch some sleep or whatever it is you do on your free time."
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane grins wickedly, "Get her drunk enough and maybe lil' miss perfect t will lighten up. It ain't no secret she's been checking you out on the sky too..Ever since she went off that Raith guy.." she shrugs casually, actually as if she doesn't have an intimidate relationship with Thomas afterall.

"Oh and if you're planning on stealing something I wouldn't try. Now that the restricted section is warded it's dangerous to your health to even try..Good thing I got this bracelet and even then there are things off limits too me..Probably not to B though.."

She sighs, offering him the bottle. "Want some? it's pretty good, maybe you can help me figure out what caused a bunch of long dead dudes to suddenly pop up as vampires the other night." the answer must be in these pages somewhere right?
Spike has posed:
He takes another drag of his cigarette and exhales thoughtfully,"Maybe getting her drunk gets a night, but that's something that will haunt me the next night." he mutters. Shaking his head he admits,"Thomas is something, but at least he's not Angel."

He pats his pockets and replies,"Nothing in my pockets, nothing up my sleeve." he comments with a shrug. Considers the braclet for a moment and shrugs,"Everybody gets a bleeding friendship bracelet then." he muses.

Considering the bottle he takes it. Something to trade? He shakes a cigarette for her,"I'd wager you're overdue." he comments. Considering the long dead people becoming vampires he frowns. He sets the cigarettes on the table if she wants one so he can take a drink of the vodka. Once it is down he nods,"Not bad for over aged potatoes."
