Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has been busy with the club a lot, and was not able to make his and Angelica's last flight time. So, seeing he had some free time this evening, he sent her a text, and offered to meet at the coffee bean for something to drink, maybe a snack, and hanging out. He made sure he was there early to make sure he got them a good seat.

Firestar has posed:
The text is replied to and she agreese to meet him of course. So given the time, she arrives and looks around for him. Seeing him, she heads that direction and offers a wave to someone else in the place.

When she draws near him, she offers,"So tell me Sam. You invite just anybody to meet you for coffee or an I just special." She is teasing of course and she leans down to give him a peck on the cheek before taking a seat across from him.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will kiss her cheek back, and gives her a quick hug "Well, Ah think you maybe just a bit special." He tells her with a grin. He has gotten himself a sweet tea, cause well it is Sam. He lets her order when they are asked and will get a couple pastries as well. "Sorry, Ah was not able to make our last get together, has an issue with the plumbing in the club, Ah had to handle."

Firestar has posed:
A smile at the return kiss and she settles. Ordering a cup of coffee, she thanks the waitress politely and then nods,"Well it is good to be special to some people. I was starting to think I was losing my touch." Not that she really ever tried to be. That was all bluster in that comment. She is fine being in her own world for sure.

A shake of her head and she adds,"Don't worry. Life happens. Plumbing issues are a lousy issue. We'll get our chance to do that again soon. Promise. I am only taking one class through the summer. It is a pain, but it helps it is the only one."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Yea, Ah am taking a couple night classes, but they are just filler classes, Ah need for the business degree. It does help when Ah can contact other folks in Berto's company for ideas, if Ah am having issues with it." He grins and says "So what class you taking?"

Firestar has posed:
"Business classes would be more interesting as a gen ed." she admits and thanks the waitress again when her coffee arrives. She doctors it with some creamer and yellow pack sweetner,"While it has a fancy name, it amounts to old England literature. Things that really don't mean anything to a Physics degree whatsoever." A sigh and shrug and then she sips the coffee, nodding approval.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Sounds like Ah would enjoy your class more, and you mine." He chuckles a bit to this and says "If you need someone to talk about a book to let me know, Ah will try to get on reading what ever you are, so you have a person to bounce ideas off of.

Firestar has posed:
"I like to read Sam, but this stuff is dry." she muses and sips her coffee again,"Rice cakes dry, but I appriciate the offer to help. I might have to take you up on it." A shake of her head and she admits,"Business classes aren't my thing either, but it would have to be better than this."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Well hopefully the teacher is not Ben Stein at least." He sips his tea, and says "So what you been up to lately? Anything interesting?

Firestar has posed:
"I think Ben Stein would be more interesting." she replies with a sigh. She takes another drink and shrugs,"Other than that, not a lot. I met Nate Grey recently. He's in interesting sort." she admits,"Friendly enough and smarter than maybe some might give him credit for."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, a bit and says "Ah have heard a bit about him, but have not had a chance to run into him yet. But then again, Ah am sure Ah will meet him sooner or later." He munches his food and says "Things going well with the big leagues still?"

Firestar has posed:
"You should meet him." she replies,"As for the rest. I get tagged in now and then. A jail break most recently. I also get to sit on high and monitor the world. Send people places to fix issues when necessary."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Well pretty sure most of them have their duty, not sure if all do, but figure most do." He nods, and says "Ah will have to make an effort see if Ah can run into him. Know if he comes up to the school?"

Firestar has posed:
"Everybody holds up their end yes." she agrees in terms of the League. She considers and sips her coffee thoughtfully,"The way he was talking he pretty much lives at the campus, but I might have misunderstood." she admits.

She takes another drink of coffee and sighs softly,"So anything interesting in your world? Some new girl catching your eye or anything?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head, and says "Na, still got my eyes on this red headed girl, just call me Charlie Brown." He smiles and says "And with work, and dealing with some stuff back home. Looks like Jeb might be coming up to the school soon."

Firestar has posed:
A slight smirk and Angelica offers,"Red head? Ask around, they might be more trouble than they are worth." Clearly teasing. She leans on the table a litle bit and she asks,"You know where this red head lives?"

She considers the idea of Jeb coming soon,"You are definately keeping it in the family. Let me know so I can go by and see him. Make sure he is getting settled."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Ah will let ya know, and yea, she has a pretty nice place in the city. Ah try to make sure she has fresh flowers, when ever Ah drop by. Ah think she likes them, but maybe just being nice."

Firestar has posed:
She looks down at the coffee and replies softly,"I'm sure she likes them. No girl doesn't life flowers. Not even the crazy red heads." She takes another drink and she looks at him,"Do you think she would like to see you over at her place? I mean you might be able to get some alone time with the red head if you wanted?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Ah would hope so, maybe even see what she has planned for the weekend, and see if we could take a bit of time to ourselves. Ah think Ah could probably get someone to watch the club for me."

Firestar has posed:
Angelica finishes her coffee and winks,"Maybe you should go over there and talk to her. I'll bet she could find some free time for the weekend." She lays her hand on the table palm up and flexes her fingers once. If he wants to take it, it is right there,"What do you think?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and will reach over to take her hand gently in his and then making leans over to give her a gentle kiss "So, got plans for this weekend?" He asks after.

Firestar has posed:
She smiles a little when he leans in she meets his kiss gently. A smile and she shakes her head,"I don't have plans for the weekend no. I was probably going to lock myself in the apartment and clean or study. Do you want to take me home and talk about it?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, his head and says "Sounds like a plan, give me a moment, to pay for this." He will stand and take the check to pay for their food and drink, putting a tip on the table when he returns and offers her his arm "And away we go?"

Firestar has posed:
Gathering her things, Angelica gets up and tells him,"Away we go." she agrees. It isn't too far to her place so it won't take them long to arrive there. She talks easily with him about potential weekend plans as they draw near.
