Interlude: But for a blink of an eye

Synopsis:	Speed of thought is amazing. The Phantasm briefs Sinister on the capture of X-men and the Friends of Humanity. It's probably a trap.

Sinister has posed:
All in a text: Just a handful of words.

'Rogue's been abducted. Can you find her?'

Somewhere in the penthouse high in the sky over Melville, Sinister steps out on the balcony and stands, simply closing his eyes, hands on the railing. The wind stirs, blusters leaves and hair.

And elsewhere, in the labyrinthine corridors of the mind, as if the thought was a low conversational tone heard right behind one: "Yes. I can find her. I have my eye on her."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Along the New York skyline a bird flies with a purpose most birds do not have. Like the ill-fated birds bearing news for Apollo, this raven's message was far from the good type. The wings flap furiously, giving the bird great speed. And- perhaps due to Phantasm's missing knowledge on how flight works, perhaps even faster.

There's a sense of relief as Sinister's voice touches upon his thoughts. It's becoming a thing. And with it being a thing now, the response back seems second nature.

.oO(Good. I have a strong suspicion those who hurt Logan are the ones who have her.)Oo.

The bird's form flips to the side as he skirts between two close together buildings instead of trying to go over them. Flap flap flap...

.oO(They're planning on hitting Club Evolution. Going to warn Sam.)Oo.

Sinister has posed:
"Well, isn't that nice..." Sinister's tone mind, is black. He briefly opens his eyes, casting a narrowed slit of red toward the distant horizon of New York's skyline, glancing back to the penthouse apartment as if weighing pros and cons.

It's always good to have an unexpectedly large weapon to wield as a club-hammer, but occasionally... it's hard to justify it, to his own whims and inclinations. He gazes back. Over there's Manhattan, the bronx, mutant town to the side of Greenwich.

"Nick. Much as this is a noble thing and much as the importance cannot be stressed enough... be careful. One does not simply take down Rogue, or Wolverine. I do hope you have your angry sticks."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The bird errupts out the other side of the buildings, spinning to right himself.

.oO(I have my gear. Mask is on in case I have to drop form.)Oo.

There's the general mental flash of a street name and the visual of the warehouse the group had been talking in. Just in case.

.oO(I haven't engaged nor shown myself. But she wasn't at the location they were talking at. They mentioned they were going to a third location to regroup. )Oo.

There is a pause before Phantasm continues.

.oO(They mentioned negotiating with someone called Raven for her return, but also hinted they might do something similar to her like they did to Logan too... What is The Black Forces? One guy mentioned that before quoting something in German. And saying something about one of History's great leaders.)Oo.

Yet another spin of the bird occurs as he clears a skybridge.

.oO(I was kind of getting Hitler fanboy vibes off that guy)Oo.

Sinister has posed:
"Raven? Raven Darkholme, I would expect." There's silence for a beat. But when communication is all in the mind, that's a long, long time. "Black Forces. That's a nickname, technically speaking and one I haven't heard in a while -- S.S. Only here, I think you're looking at neo-nazis. The Friends of Humanity want to see humankind dominant, racial purity. I would quite like to erradicate them like cockroaches. They have a similar resilience though."

Sinister sighs, up there on the skyscraper.

"I will home in on Rogue. I will keep you posted."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
There is the sense of relief in response to Sinister's response.
