Stage One : The Planning

Location:	Balcony, Monarch Theatre
Synopsis:	Nikki's trying to plan for Germany and Europe, much to her detriment, so Tim saves her some strife.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki has been staying at Tim's place for a few days now. Mostly for convenience, partly because New York is rough, and simply because she can. However, she's been doing little sleeping lately. Like tonight. Even after working all day in the lab, coming home and practicing with her team for a bit, and maybe taking a break for dinner - it's now half past midnight and she is still awake. In the room where Tim has built her a computer area for all her needs - and she's got both the screens going with multiple pages of different hotels in different country points that were close to their destination of Germany. She's burning the candle from both ends it seems - caffeinated drinks around her in various empty cans and one full one she's currently sipping from.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hs had to work a couple nights when she was there, but he told her he was ok with her staying while he worked *Aka went on patrols* Tonight he has an early patrol so after cleaning up in the base hidden below he put back on his normal clothes and comes back to come back into the house via the garage entrance.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki isn't aware that Tim left, and so is less aware that he's come back. At least Red Robin has the sense of changing out of that uniform Nikki has seen a few times now before he enters the house again. There's a dim light from the area where her computer is, and she's still looking over travel tips, hot spots, perhaps even low key things that won't seem so 'touristy'.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will grab some drinks and a meat tray for snacks, and heads to check on her. Figuring she may not have eaten in a while "Hey you, whats up?" He asks as he walks in.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Checking things. Hotels. Travel plans. Necessary visas. If I have to change anything from when I go from working to vacationing. Technical stuff." Nikki answers in short hand and in a normal speech pattern since she's so focused. She clicks, notes something down, clicks on another screen. "Also trying to save money where we can. Hotels are expensive over there..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and smiles a bit at the last bit. He leans in kissing her cheek and says "We don't have to worry about the last bit hon, pick places you want to stay don't worry about the prices." He sets the drink and food down where she can see it.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"You say that...but I'm not some money hungry person wanting to just...spend it because I can." Nikki says this, barely eying what he puts down near her to see for a moment. Until she does, and then she looks to him. Her eyes are bloodshot - as they would become if one hasn't slept for a while. "Do you have any suggestions on what we can do in places like Italy or France?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "Well, I got a few ideas, figured you would want to do some of the typical tourist stuff, but others as well. He reaches to take her hands so she quites typing "When is the last time you slept hon?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks as he takes her hands and while she would normally take them back, it almost causes her to realize where she is and what she's been doing. "Uhm...like...maybe yesterday? At some point? Or maybe more likely the day before." She flushes red. "I can't remember."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "Ok, how about you and I eat a bit and we can lay in bed and watch some tv together?" He asks her figuring he gets her comfortable and full she will sleep

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki shakes her head. "We don't have a lot of time left and I want to get these hotels booked so we're not stuck with...whatever's available. They fill up fast. Or so I hear. Plus there's been practicing for the tournament, some new stuff is dropping in the next couple days and we need to be ready for it. Plus..I'm not tired..honest.." Which is totally a lie as she yawns big. "M'okay..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her, and says "Seriously Nikki, I can call and have us a penthouse in each of the cities we are going to. It is not a big deal there, and if you play while tired, you may forget something best to be awake and not tired when playing

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki sighs. "I just want it all to be perfect..." She says, in a mumbled type voice as she goes to close out all her tabs and turns off her computer. "But you're right. As always. Gotta stay on..." She yawns again and leans over against him. "My game.."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and nods. He kisses her softly, and then lifts her up out of her chair to carry her in his arms. "Now to get you upstairs."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki returns the kiss, and doesn't fight being picked up and carried. She just loosely wraps her arms around his neck and nestles her head against his chest. "You're too good for Nikki..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake shakes his head and says "Na, I aim to be good enough for you, your great hon." He says and does carry her up to bed.
