Faith Lehane has posed:
A chilly rainy evening in Masonic Cemetary is nothing new, but tonight, there is something else unsettling going on. There are no freshly dug graves tonight, but there are some graves that have been there many years that are starting to stir. What could possibly have caused this?

Naturally the Dark Slayer is on the scene, having sensed dark magic or something else a bit off, and carrying her utility belt full of stakes, holy water, matches oh and those utility gloves with detachable and interchangeable claws, she looks ready for a fight. Too bad her worn denim jacket, red mid riff top and torn black skin tight jeans won't keep her warm on a cold rainy night..
Raven has posed:
After her room invasion by Dracula that had resulted in Raven magically 'changing the locks' on the Titan tower and becoming quite a bit more aware of the existance of vampires. Her investigations had brought her to Sunnydale and despite a recent encounter with another 'Devil's daughter', Raven had found her way towards the graveyard, drawn in perhaps by the same 'dark vibes'.

Unlike Faith, she wasn't dressed in civillian clothing...that cloak and black leotard that made up her costume likely casting her in the look of some dark witch for anyone who didn't recognize her. Which, to be fair...she actually was.
Spike has posed:
While he has been back in the area again for a time, Spike has stayed mostly off the radar. For once he is enjoying not being the center of attention. Looking over the cemetary from a nearby hill, he strikes his Zippo and draws the flame into his cigarette. The lighter clinks shut and he slowly exhales the first drag.

The stirring graves gets a raised brow. The familiar face of the Dark Slayer causes a nod. The cloaked woman makes him furrow his brow and he waits to see what happens for now.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane is looking for trouble and it seems she's found..Well something. She had hoped to just wait for vamps to pop up so she could take 'em Disney but now it seems a new unknown variable has entered the field. Dark eyes narrow on Rachel, something about her possibly setting off her Slayer Senses. "Who the hell are you? Dint tell me you're Satanna's cousin or one of Dracula's girls?"

Well dressed like that she sure looks like some sorta villain possibly..Is she the one behind this? And then she spies a familiar Spike, whom she's not particularly fond of but he can be useful. She nods to him. "Yo Spike, we got trouble, looks like tons of undead are rising, and who's the Goth chick? She a friend of yours?"
Raven has posed:
Well that was a greeting, but Raven's own painted lips quirk to a little note of amusement. "I'm no vampire," the pale woman speaks, perhaps not the most believable of things given her whole 'half-demon harbinger of a possible apocalypse' thing. She folds her arms at her bust, a calm step forwards and a tilt of her head. "But it does seem that -you- know more than most, so perhaps you can tell me where the undead here are coming from..."
Spike has posed:
His eyes track from the stranger to Faith and shrugs,"No idea." He steps off the hill and into cemetary. He starts to walk towards them, dropping his Zippo into the pocket of his coat.

As he gets closer he adds,"I go on a side trip for a while and I come back to things bloody weirder than when I left." He considers Raven again and shakes his head,"There's no vampire there, but not exactly normal either." He looks to the moving graves and scowls.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane laughs at Raven, "Seriously, you can't fool me, Slayer Sense and all. You ain't no ordinary mundane bystander, who the hell are you, and why are you here, of all places?" she rolls her eyes, popping out her wooden claws, though two out of five of them are steel, our inches long and razor sharp. She doesn't waves them at the newcomer or threaten her directly, but the fact that she did pop em out at all might just come across as a threat.

"Wow, you really don't know who I am? I'm The freaking Slayer, of course!" she laughs again as if everyone in Sunnydale should know. Well, anyone who is in the supernatural world in Sunnydale sure the hell knows who she is. She may be a bit drunk tonight, but maybe she's always a bit arrogant too.

But it seems there's little time for chat, as bodies quickly start to rise from the ground, digging and clawing their way out to the surface, their pasty blood starved faces and blood shot eyes suggesting they are none other than vampires!

There must be a dozen or so..
Raven has posed:
Well, that was new. Wooden claws? It would make sense. "Well, 'Slayer', I am not your enemy tonight..." she offers before tilting her head to the side. "I am Raven, of the Titans."

Maybe the heroes would be known, maybe she wouldn't be, but it didn't matter. She wasn't picking a fight just yet, instead she floats upwards and turns her gaze around the graveyard.

"I have come to look for answers."
Spike has posed:
There is a *clink* sound, Spike leans down and the nearest vampire climbing out of the grave catches fire. He closes the lighter and puts it back into his pocket. A stake comes out of his pocket instead of the lighter and he goes towards another climbing out and punt kicks the head of the vampire before it can get fully out of the grave.

"More fight, less talk. You lot can flirt or shag or what have you later." he comments with a sour tone. So he's not fully housebroken despite the chip in his head. Still full powered smart mouth.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane rolls her eyes at Spike as she takes a swipe at one of the riding vamps, moving as graceful and powerful as a panther ready to strike. "Seriously Spike? Do I look like I'm flirting? Geez pay attention.." she darts around, dodging another vamp.

They seem interested in Raven and even as she floats they leap to meet her, clearly quite agile in the air, more lunge after Spike and Faith too.

"Sorry but you ain't gonna find many answers here, just more questions.."
Raven has posed:
Right. Vampires. The Billy Idol impersonator did have a point!

She turns, the shadows twist and swirl towards the first vampire closest to her, seizing it in that black aura and hurling it back against the stonework of a larger headstone before a blast of eldritch energy followed. A little more excessive than most heroines might go...but having Dracula sneak into your house did tend to make someone a little anti-vampire.
Spike has posed:
Impersonator indeed! Spike stakes the one he kicked and then gets tossed into a headstone by two of the vampires that managed to get out of the ground. Leading with his head, the clunk is unsettling.

"Bloody Hell!" he shouts and rolls with where he can. The two rush and he rolls onto his back, kicking up at them and hitting each of them south of the belt line. Will it kill them? No. Does it hurt? Very much.

Lifting his knees towards his chest and then he kicks himself up from his back to his feet again. Too many critters for showboating...well maybe a little showboating.
Faith Lehane has posed:
"Stake em through the heart with wood, or cut off their heads! it's the only thing that'll kill 'em!" she yells as she she stabs one thru the heart then hurls another over her head, stabbing it against a sharpened tree branch as if to demonstrate.

"Damn they keep coming, but these guys have been dead for a while which means....?!" what exactly? "We need to end this..Ideas?"
Raven has posed:
Sharp wood, squashed head...it would probably be simpler than trying to find magic or excessive force to anihilate vampires. Raven turns, her hand reaching out towards one of the trees as it was enveloped in her black aura, reduced to a white-highlighted silhouette before she clenched her fist and it imploded into shards of jagged wood. Shards she sent hurtling in a salvo towards several of the vampires with a sweep of her hand.

Well, at least Faith made it pretty clear the show of numbers wasn't normal, so Raven took to the air. Eyes aglow, she swept her vision over the graveyard, attempting to locate the source of tonight's undead party.
Spike has posed:
Staking the two that have been vilolated with smashing to their sensitive bits, Spike dives to the ground and rolls away from the incoming stakes that fill the air,"BLOODY HELL!" he growls and rises again.

One of the still surviving vampires rushes at him. He produces something from his coat pocket. He side steps the incoming vampire and then flips what looks like a razor wire around her neck and rotates away. He lifts her from the ground and snaps the ends to sever her head. Dust falls to the ground.
Faith Lehane has posed:
While Faith and Spike maintain the chaos as best as they can below, Raven may soon sense the disturbance in the ley lines..Looks like some sort of circular standing stone formation..A magic circle perhaps..? And if she can sense magic to some extent she may just sense some sort of magic leaking out of the glyphs..someone has disturbed the delicate formation of stones..And while a physical formation is only so effective, it perhaps hints at a deeper issue within the land. Someone has been messing with dark magic and with one of the stones broken, the dark magic contained within is slowly leaking out and affecting the surrounding area. Can the broken stone be fixed, somehow?
Raven has posed:
A sight seen, magical nonsense gone wild. Her hand lifts, a hand offered out towards the wayward arcana. "Hold them back," Raven calls from above, sweeping closer and extending her arms as her demonic magics pours out of her, starting to pull at the summoning and seal alike. Maybe she could destroy the magic...but at the very least, she'd 'lock' the door again.

"Azorath..." the power swells, "Metrion..." red and black energy danced down her skin, the same glow alight in her gaze as she brought that power to bare towards the circle. "Zinthos!"
Spike has posed:
Dusting himself off a little Spike looks up at the departing Raven and calls back,"What the bleeding Hell do you think we've been doing? Looking for da..." Punch to the face.

Ignorning the flying woman and getting his mind back in the game, he bobs and weaves around to avoid the next punch. He punches the vampire under the armpit, then he stakes the vampire.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Once the magical words are uttered, electric arcs of dark magic glitter and crackle along the edges of...Some sort of dome shape form in the centre of the four large stones, the previously broken stone joining the others. For a moment, arcane tunes glow and hum along the surface of the rocks, each depicting some ancient tune of some sort..

The leak has been fixed but the energies here seem delicate, and may take a more complex ritual to prevent a similar thing from happening in the future.

"Damn.." Faith mutters as she helps Spike to clean up the rest of the mess. "Guess we gotta check in with Harry and Willow, see what's up with that book we stole from the Vampire coven.."

She peers back at Raven, raising her voice a bit. "Soo who the hell are you? I'm guessing you're one of the good guys huh?"
