Synopsis: Harry and Willow had an evening to catch up and eat pizza or something.
Cast of Characters: Harry Dresden, Willow Rosenberg

Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry is coming up from the basement. He closes the trapdoor and covers it with the rug. He pinches the bridge of his nose and yawns. He's been burning the candle at both ends and it is starting to show,"That thing is Canada is harder to lock in on..." he mutters softly,"...spots all over the map..." He pauses and closes his eye,"That could be a problem." he mutters.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Curled up on the couch, Willow finishes her page, and marks the book with a book marker, before greeting Harry.

"You seemed lost in thought, so I used the time to read. What is likely going to be a problem, if you don't mind my asking?"

She unfurls from her reading book posture and pats the couch next to her. "It's been too long since we both were in the same room together. I've missed you."
Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry blinks and walks into the living room. He smiles a little and says,"Hey." He thinks for several seconds and nods,"That last case. I think I Lived in the Beetle and wrecked several truck stop hot water heaters."

He sighs and goes to take a seat on he couch and leans in to kiss her cheek lightly,"Sorry. Pizza breath." He winks and then tells her,"That last bunch of dreams. I am getting a feel for the thing, but I keep finding multiple points of it all over the Canadian Rockies. I don't want to think about that thing having family."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow giggles as Harry complains about pizza breath. "You are going to kiss me properly when you have brushed your teeth." Frankly, she doesn't really care about his breath, but, obviously he does.

She listens to the problem, which is what it has been the entire time. It is like someone is playing Marco Polo with him, and cheating to boot, as if to say, how does it feel like when you're the victim?

"You know, eventually you are going to have to go up there. Maybe you should switch what you are looking for, and focus on what would be the best bet to fight it, and then allow it to draw you in instead of constantly chasing a shadow."
Harry Dresden has posed:
He nods and replies,"I will go brush after a minute." He considers what she says about the chasin,"I know. I know." he replies,"I want to go get the thing, but this one seems far worse than the dogman creatures. From what I have been reading they are immortal, difficult to kill, and cannibalistic."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Quickly she kisses him properly. "I really don't mind you having pizza breath, silly. Now we both have it."

Willow sits back, and frowns. "That does sound scary. But you've been looking where to find it, and I'm not so certain that that is the way to go. It seems that it knows where *you* are, so, stand up to it. Tell it you're ready, unless he isn't. Then call him a coward, or something.. wait, he could be a she.. anyways.. put the ball back into his court, and focus on how you can defeat it. I think he thinks you can't, and as long as he has you on this thread, he is winning."
Harry Dresden has posed:
"I knew there was a reason you are the best girlfriend ever." he tells her after she kisses him,"I mean what man doesn't want a woman willing to go to pizza breath with him?"

Considering for a moment he finally nods,"All right. I will see about reaching out to some of the others and we'll see about arranging a meet and then move up there. You and I. I haven't heard from Sabrina or Cassie in a while. I don't relish the idea of it just being the two of us. Maybe Buffy, Thomas, or Faith. I don't know if I trust the Ella woman or Satana enough. Assuming you wanted to go looking."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"The only thing is, now I want pizza! Ooooo, and beer!"

Willow sounds proud of herself at that decision.

"Huh? Oh! Well, yes, I want to help. Why wouldn't I?" As for Ella or Satanna, she doesn't have enough info on them. They have been helpful in the past? "You might want to ask Henri." The owner of the antique shop. "He is.. well, I won't tell you if you aren't looking for more. It is really his story to tell."
Harry Dresden has posed:
A soft laugh and he shakes his head,"I can get take out if you want. There is beer in the ice box." He looks at the poor old phone that still does hold up to his presence, mostly.

He nods and he adds,"I don't know. I am not looking forward to this one. It will be good to have you at my side." he admits,"I don't know Henri, but if you think he would be helpful, by all means."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Please!" Willow says to the pizza and beer.

"He's.. well, you use magic, which is a problem. I think? He has come around quite far from when he first met me. He was going to kill me, seeing as I was a witch. But then I helped him, with Nick, and rescued his girlfriend from back in the 1700s. I think? It was not from this time. That's for certain."

"She was condemned to burn at the stake. We came up with a plan to steal her as she burned, and I was kinda bad. I knew of the Abbey because of my former boyfriend's sister hid away. So without telling him I brought to this time and hid her at the Abbey. Don't worry, eventually he was told."

"He's sorta of an avenging spirit by night to wreak God's Justice. Only he's been having a crisis of faith."
Harry Dresden has posed:
The poor rotary dial phone survives the call and pizza is on the way. He hangs up and considers her words,"One of those suffer no witch to live sorts?" he asks thoughtfully.

"Burned at the stake. Weren't the old days glorious?" he mutters,"If he is an avenging spirit against monsters, maybe he will forget one of us for the opportunity to take out the monstrocities? Maybe you should introduce us."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Witches. Warlocks. Rapists. Blasphemers. Murders. The like. That kind of thing. But mostly he liked killing witches." Which did make being friends during the first part of their relationship a tad on the hard side. But he wasn't the hardest one she had brought over to the light side. "He has helped us before. He apparently was on an extended honeymoon. Or similar."

Willow looked over once he placed his call. "What kind of pizza did you get?"
Harry Dresden has posed:
"An equal opportunity offender. Lovely." he mutters,"I haven't been able to reach Cassie or Sabrina still and I don't anticipate reaching either." He frowns thoughtfully and admits,"These things are definately some sort of mystical abomination. Can you think of anyone else to bring? I would like to bring Molly and Michael, but they are also out of reach. Sanya is out of touch as well."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"He believes he has been anointed by God to bring God's justice, you know. He didn't ask for this. He can't die. Until he figured out what I did, he thought that God had punished him by taking away his girlfriend and let him live for hundreds of years alone."

"But!" And here Willow lifts up one finger. "He has the ability to find mystical empowerment to lead him to his victims. Can't beat that."
Harry Dresden has posed:
He is listening to the man's purpose and he nods,"Men called to serve God. I get it. I've known three that were do that very thing. They have had as many close calls as either one of us." he muses,"I get being punished and have your girlfriend taken, but it was God on my part. My bastard uncle."

The door is knocked on, Mouse chuffs once goes to greet the delivery guy. Harry gets up to go pay the pizza guy, pausing and looking back at her,"He can find mystical powers? Like our Canadian monster..." He frowns thoughtfully and goes to the door,"Remind me that I love you, owe you a kiss, and a big favor." he muses thoughtfully and goes to the front to get the pizza."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"I just remembered that tidbit. He can always pinpoint where I am. Though I don't know the distance, or if it has to do with the person's power, or if he narrows in on them. I'm not very up to snuff with how he does it, but maybe he can help?"

As she talks, the pizza man knocks at the door.

"Ooo! Pizza. Don't forget the beer!" Willow seems in a good mood all of a sudden. "What kind did you get?"
Harry Dresden has posed:
After paying for the food and beer, he returns to the back a few moments later. There is the sound of Mouse chowing down on something as he does. Harry walks back with with two medium pizzas and a six pack of Mac's ales, cold. How that happened is a secret.

"You think he might help us hunt those things?" he asks. He hands a box to Willow,"It is a veggie delight wiht a garlic cream base as opposed to tomato base. It has all the usual peppers, onions, olives, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms."

He sets his aside and adds,"Mine has a mix of veggies and meats together. Most of that, plus pepperoni, italian sausage, canadian bacon, beef, and pork sausage."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow's stomach growls. Loudly!

"Mmm.. Wait no pep..per.. Ooo." She remembers, almost too late, that she is vegetarian. But damn (yes, damn.) she could have gone for pepperoni. Ooo and bacon! Mmmm bacon..

Wait a minute. Harry asked her a question. "Uh, I think so? It can't hurt to ask? Hey, what did you mean you owe me a huge favour?" Big has suddenly become 'huge'. Funny that. Though, that doesn't sound like her at all.
Harry Dresden has posed:
He raises a brow at the almost and he smirks,"I'm wearing ya down baby..." he does his best Urkle impression. Not that it is great, but good enough to recognize.

He opens his to smell and smiles,"Mouse has his calzone and Mister as well." he explains. Thinking it over he nods,"If he'd be willing to aid you we can talk. If you think you can trust him that far." He smirks a little and shakes his head,"I mean it sounds like you have ideas about what it should be." he teases.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"I would say it's a jealous magic user, but I don't know if I would be jealous of me. But I still think it's someone with a grudge against you."

Willow chews at her lower, until the Erkle rendition. "That's funny. But since you said it, could I have a piece of yours too? I'll trade you!" She nods. "Sure. You can come with me if you want. The worst he can do is say no. And I trust him. Truly I do."

The person she doesn't trust is herself lately..
Harry Dresden has posed:
"The thought crossed my mind as well." he admits,"Someone trying to string me or the rest of you along. Use up resources in hopes of catching someone with their pants down." He muses.

When she asks for a trade, he raises a brow and takes a slice from his pizza and offers it to her,"Of course." he offers and teases lightly,"Would you like me to feed it to you?" Yeah. He's a joker, but he might very well,"As for the other, I will go with you to talk yes. If you trust him I will see if he is willing and trust him if you want."
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
For a moment her eyes grow dark. "Oh? Would you?" She drawls wickedly. "I would almost be willing to see that." As she says it she rakes her eyes up and down Harry. But she doesn't touch him. Instead she takes the slice and bites it.

"Mmm. I don't know why I have this urge to break my food rules. Strange, huh?" Her voices back to Willowish tones, as well her her are green.

Though she knows why she is breaking so many of her rules: Food and other.Since she's been seeing Rake her view is shifted to whole other vista, and frankly this poor, naive Willow is holding her down. (She still compartmentalised *that* Willow as different from *this* Willow.

The question is: Which Willow will come out ahead?
Harry Dresden has posed:
"I would." he replies with a wink and then takes another piece from his box and takes a bite when she takes the food without playing along. He laughs softly and tells her,"You're breaking rules because you've been around some bad influences." he teases about her association with him.

Now if she caught that or not might throw her and might not. He takes a bite of the food and nods approvingly at the taste of it. Poor Harry, in love and his better half is going down a dark path and he keeps missing the obvious.
Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Poor Willow.

Poor Harry.

By the time he realizes the damage will be too late to fix.

But for now, Willow has other appetites that suddenly need slaking. And Harry is the perfect man to scratch those itches.. Though.. is it Willow or her darker self that comes to him in the dark?
