It's been a long while since Faith has travelled outside of Sunnydale. To be honest, jobs have been few and in between, but she did manage to steal some poor unsuspecting soul's round trip bus ticket to Vancouver, so here she is.
Belly burger seemed a good place to check out, but of course she had received an interesting tip about vampire activity in town too. May as well kill two birds with one stone and all that.
Dressed in her favorite worn denim jacket, black jeans and red cut off tube top, she strides in with a confident swagger, searching for a place to sit. Most people who see her knows she is trouble and give her a wide berth. It probably helps that she's a bit drunk too.

It's been a while since Trini came out to this place. Something for a cheat day. However something seems to be troubling her. SOmething is definitely on her mind. She's just sitting... with her back turned to the entrance and just staring down at her burger and fries. She hasn't touched anything yet.
Her long hair is held in a low ponytail with a yellow scrunchie, and she has on a black t-shirt with a sabretooth tiger doing a standing side kick. The shirt is tucked into a pair of blue jeans held up by a yellow belt and her feet have black and yellow tennis shoes on them. Black with yellow stripes and laces. There doesn't seem to be a reaction to the new entry. Her body is just... tense and rigid.

Faith Lehane steps up to the counter, ordering a burger and fries and a coke, then peers around for a seat. "Damn, this place is popular." she mutters, clearly having trouble finding a spare seat in this heavily popular burger joint..
And then as she walks around, she spies Trini, taking a double take. "Woah Trini? Is that you?"

Trini hears that voice. That familiar voice. She turns her head in Faith's direction when she hears her name. "... Yeah... Yeah it's me..." Her voice sounds... distant for some reason. Like... the liveliness is gone from it, and from her usual cheery facial expressions.
"What are you doing here?" She asks... rather flatly in tone now.

Faith Lehane smirks, nodding to the seat opposite her. "Mind if I join you? Not like there are a lot of other places to sit.."
She pretty much invites herself to the table, not waiting to dig in hungrily to her meal. "So what's wrong with you? you look like hell." she states rather bluntly between mouthfuls of fries.

Trini actually picks up a fry now, glancing at it and then to her slowly. "Yeah... Yeah you can join me."
After she speaks, she takes a moment to eat her fry. It's almost... calculated the way she chews for some reason. She swallows with a sip of her drink. "I'm... surprised to see you. The last time we talked wasn't so... pleasant." She now looks down at her burger and breathes in deep before sighing. "I just feel so... so drained here. I walked in here just to... just to have something after practicing in the park and then my mind. It just started to... to wander..."

Faith Lehane laughs a bit, shaking her head. "What, because we both dated the same guy? I mean it's cool, it's whatever. You were with him in the past, I'm with him now so it's no big deal.."
She narrows her eyes on her though, trying to scrutinize her it seems. "Woah, is that why you're so bummed out? You miss him?"

Trini has this... gaze in her eyes like she's trying to study Faith after her words. Much like the scrutiny from Faith but hers is a little... confusion. It fades after a few moments and she shakes her head, "No... I... I don't miss him. I... There's something about... this place." What? It's just a burger shop. "Don't you feel it? When I came in here I felt so... drained... and my mind started to wonder just about if everything is just... If... If everything is just... useless... anymore."

Faith Lehane blinks slowly at Trini, and it takes her a bit longer but..She's starting to pick up on something, now that she's no longer distracted by food.
She scowls, rubbing her temples, blinking a bit. "What the hell? Suddenly I don't feel so good...What's going on...Some kind of...Hex?" really she's not that savvy on spells or magic but she knows enough when it comes to bad mojo to know something ain't right..

"Nothing is... Nothing is right here." Trini's eyes widen, like she realizes what's going on what with Faith's question. She nods her head swiftly. "We should... we should really get out of here." She starts to slide out of her seat now. "We should at least just... just go outside... anywhere... Anywhere but here."

Faith Lehane groans, staring down at her burger. "Seriousoy? but I just paid way too much for this burger and there ain't no way in hell I'm gonna ditch it til I'm...Til...Gah...Can't think straight..." she groans.
- Yellow Ranger has posed:
Trini looks around, seeming to flag down an employee. They're always so friendly and tonight is no exception. "Yeah?" Asks one of the older gentleman. Trini sounds like she's in a hurry, "T'gobagplease! Two!" The man blinks, seeming... lost as to why she's in a hurry but he reaches under the counter to slip her two bags. "Here." Trini seems to make a mad dash now and gives her a bag, just... tossing handfuls of fries from Trini's plate into her bag then stuffing it with the burger and grabbing her drink. This... This is certainly bizarre. "Faith?" She looks at her with concern now. It seems like, this hex is starting to wear off with her, probably because she realizes what's going on now. "Faith... Think... You're going through what I went through. I see it."

Faith Lehane blinks. seemingly in a daze. "...Huh? the bell you talking about? I just...What was I...?" she scowls as Trini starts scooping g food in a to go bag and she's about to protest but eventually follows suit, realizing what's going on. Slayer blood is strong afterall.
"Well screw this!" she starts shoveling food in to her bag by the handfuls, taking bites as she goes. "Let's get the hell outta here!" she talks loud enough to alarm others as she storms towards the exit..

Trini watches Faith fight through the haze of confusion, and then takes her hand if she's let, and tries to dash out through the front door. She's successful, nearly pushing the door into someone who says 'Woah!' and Trini apologizes quickly, "'scusemesorry!" When they're finally outside, and towards the street, she turns to her and the first thing she asks is, "Are you okay?" She looks to her with concern.

Faith Lehane lets out a breath, looking visibly relieved. Although surprised at Trini's comment. "Concerned about me?" she laughs. "Aren't you sweet. I'm tough I'll be fine, but what the helm was that about?" she peers back at the store thoughtfully.

Trini nods faintly, not addressing about the concern and just looking at the store pensively now. She slowly turns her head to Faith and comments, "I don't know, but it certainly deserves investigation." She brings her soda cup to her lips and has a sip from the straw. "Sorry that just... made me hungry and thirsty too." She shakes her head a bit. "I don't want to see anyone get hurt." Now she addresses it.
