Profile
Lex Luthor is and forever will always be the self-styled Man of Tomorrow; The Last Hope of Humanity. As the CEO of the multi-national corporate powerhouse known as LexCorp, Lex Luthor is as much a man of the people as he is a man above them.
A brilliant, confident man, Lex Luthor is an intellectual giant whom has used his ability to build a vast Empire of legitimate and not-so legitimate resources... and uses them to 'guide' Metropolis from atop his technological 'throne' in LexCorp tower. He seeks to better the people of Earth (his public distrust of aliens being well known) by any means necessary, as the unofficial leader of the council of the Light.

Sheet
Description
Incredibly recognizable on sight, this well-known and expensive tasted individual is none other than Metropolis' Man of Tomorrow: Lex Luthor. With an impressive height to his credit Lex Luthor carries himself in a subtly intimidating manner. His head is bald, sleek and slick as though there were never hair up there to begin with. He's clean shaven allowing his chiseled features to be seen without follicle interruption. His eyes sparkle hiding true intentions behind a curtain of emerald green. His attractiveness is left to the eye of the beholder, various social media outlets and magazines but is nudged along by the youthful features for a man of his age. His posture is picture perfect, enough to make people wonder if he had been carved out of stone rather than being born. A well defined musculature provides a fitting display for his attire on a regular basis, showing that he does indeed take good care of his body.
His current attire speaks for itself even in the simplicity of its nature. A Lanvin original, this one of a kind black suit is perfectly tailored to his body to accentuate his flawless posture and powerful chest and he wears it well. An almost shimmering white dress shirt hugs his torso snugly being set off by a near-dripping blood red tie made of the finest silks money can't buy. The entire suit is pressed and wrinkle free to the point that it'd probably take super strength to mar its perfect image. On his feet are a pair of black shoes, shined sharply enough for anyone to see themselves in them.
History
Really, the less said the better about Lillian and Lionel Luthor, the better... but since this is a record of my past for posterity, I will indulge the request:
My parents were less than appreciative of the greatness that their son would become, seeing me as only a burden for a while, and in their twisted, sadistic minds, one who became the target of their frustrations. Despite their idiocy, I persisted in trying to make a life for myself under their roof, until father went too far one day... and well, let's just say mechanical skills are very useful to have when dealing with an alcoholic driver.
I was shuffled into the foster system after that. A late teenager, so I didn't expect to be there for more than two years... yet one was more than enough for my so called 'foster parents' to concoct the idea of having their daughter sleep with me for my insurance money. She refused, for whatever reason... and was beaten to death for it. So much for them. The police were called, and that was that.
By this time, I was of age, and a capable adult in the eyes of the law... so I got to work. My experiences thus far made it clear that Mankind needed my guidance to usher in a brighter future... and that requires power... Politics? Maybe one day, when it matters. I needed to build an empire capable of building lasting change.
So it was that LexCorp was founded.
Building the small company into an empire only took a few years; my genius was always an asset, but the law can be... problematic to good business. Nonetheless, I had my empire after three short years... and all was well for a while as I made my plans.
Then *THE ALIEN* surfaced.
The powered entities were certainly a curiosity, and might be useful or not, depending on how much they acknowledged the real powers on Earth... but the alien? It was the embodiment of everything wrong with our planet. This massively powerful creature from another planet, who could certainly make a good run for it to take control of humanities birthright... and people *liked* him. It was intolerable. This alien was a threat to everything humanity could achieve, and they refused to see it.
Personality
The greatest intellect on Earth, and knows it. Lex Luthor is a kind, genius philanthropist to most of the world. He is the savior of humanity in his own mind... and given the chance, might even be right that he'd make the best leader Mankind has ever known.
Abilities
EIDETIC MEMORY

VISIONARY
Skills
ASSESSMENT
Lex Luthor has the impressive ability to look and assess both situations and opponents. By being a quick study in humanity and highly observant and perceptive, Lex Luthor is more often than not able to predict a series of possible outcomes to possible actions being taken or simply can tell what or how a situation may play out with what little information he can obtain by using his mind and his senses.
BUSINESS EXPERTISE
Lex Luthor is a very talented gifted businessman. He is self-taught, but shows incredible expertise in every single facet of business that is known to man. Perhaps even some that are beyond humanity's scope of business. Unlike some businessmen, Lex Luthor is not above using illegal operations and unethical practices to ensure the development of his businesses. That gives him an edge that most CEOs don't, or choose not to, have.
CHESS
Lex Luthor is an excellent chess player that invokes his natural brilliance and strategy when playing. He possesses a talent of which could allow him to play on a professional level. Chess is used as a method of relaxation or strategic planning on Lex's part.
COMBAT
Lex Luthor is a capable brawler with limited martial arts training. He excels when faced with a more "street level" style of combat which incorporates brawling and dirty pool, as he's much more apt to fight for survival and victory than fluidity and style. He fights viciously and emotionally.
COMPUTERS
Lex Luthor is a master of technology and thus is very capable of handling a computer with great skill and brilliance. While he does not possess the level of hacking ability that some others in the world have, he is more than capable of using computers to his advantage in more distinctly devious ways.
CONTINGENCIES
Lex Luthor may not always be prepared, but he always has a contingency for a plan that he's set in motion. There is almost always a way out of every situation, even if it doesn't look like there is and Lex Luthor has a habit of finding and exploiting it. Especially, if the situation was orchestrated by him in the first place.
DECEPTION
Lex Luthor is an incredible liar. He has deceived superhumans, computers and has rumored to have been able to deceive those that are even of a higher power than himself. Lex Luthor spent the majority of his life lying and thus his talent in this is well beyond that of the average deceiver. As such, even passing polygraphs is no problem for Lex Luthor.
EVASIVE TACTICS
Lex Luthor has been in bad situations all of his life and thus has become a professional when it comes to getting himself out of areas or confrontations that he is not equipped to deal with. Nothing like being an escape artist, Lex Luthor's mind is the key to his escape as he is quite adept at strategizing and locating the best course of action to remove himself from a situation that could be bad for him or his future.
FIREARMS
Lex Luthor is a self-taught user of firearms. He possesses a better talent with pistols and handguns, but is capable of operating semi and automatic weaponry, as well as other artillery. Many times, Lex Luthor can be found carrying a concealed handgun of some sort. Legally, of course.
INSIGHT
Lex Luthor knows people and thus he's capable of reading others and deciphering their body language to read between the lines and create a possible connection to something that may or may not be the truth. Lex Luthor is rarely fooled without someone going to great lengths to fool him. Lex Luthor is always on the outside but can see right through most people.
INTIMIDATION
Lex Luthor has money and power, both of these things are what he uses to influence and intimidate those that cross his path. Verbal threats and violent actions lead to an mental instability that could be capable of scaring others into complying with his wishes. Also, he is not about blackmail or other illegal practices to get results. The key to Lex Luthor's intimidation technique is that he will actually make good on his threats.
INVENTOR
Lex Luthor is a visionary when it comes to designing and building new technology for a variety of different uses. He's capable of building everything from small consumer gadgets to doomsday machines. His inventive mind extends to every known field of science, allowing him to create within all realms, not just technology.
INVESTIGATION
Lex Luthor is not a detective, but he possesses a keen observational talent. He pays attention to detail and notices small things, even when it appears that he doesn't. He's amazing when it comes to research and the thought process behind stringing together clues in a cohesive manner to reach a conclusion.
LANGUAGES
Lex Luthor is an epic businessman on a global scale. As such, when he's not in possession of a universal translator, Lex Luthor has managed to give himself an experienced knowledge of languages. Lex is capable of comprehending, understanding and speaking a vast number of different languages, most of which are related to his business practices.
Known Languages: French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Italian and a half dozen Chinese dialects.
LEADERSHIP
Lex Luthor has been blessed with the ability to lead masses of people without missing a beat. His talent and flair is only matched by his intellect which all comes together in a way that makes people want to follow him. He runs a worldwide mega corporation and has been known to lead groups of scum and villainy with little to no resistance. He is a natural born leader.
MAN OF STEEL EXPERTISE
Lex Luthor has been studying Superman ever since his arrival. Due to Lex's obsessive nature he has catalogued the entirety of facts and myths about the Superman. He is one of the forerunner's in knowledge about the Superman but never really tips his hand to let people know just what he knows or doesn't know.
MASTERMIND
Lex Luthor is often considered to be the Greatest Criminal Mind of Our Time. He has created masterful plots of vile actions and criminal activity, framed other villains or heroes and even manages to trick the general public into believing that he is nothing more than a philanthropist and businessman. He is an exceptional strategist and possesses a tactical brilliance that makes him a dangerous threat to anyone that dares to cross his path.
PERSUASION
Lex Luthor is very skilled at making people do what he wants. He is capable of using words and other methods to get people of opposing sides to come to an agreement over things or to see things the way he does. He's clever and quick witted, which allows him to create a whirlwind of combative rebuttals when debated against and before you know it, you're on the side of Lex Luthor.
POLITICAL EXPERTISE
Lex Luthor was born for politics. He possesses a capacity for politics that makes him endearing and dangerous on the issues, as well as having many inherent traits that would make him a great political candidate, for any office. He is also a man that will not hesitate to use each and every dirty trick out of the Politician's Playbook to win.
SCIENTIFIC EXPERTISE
Lex Luthor has mastered every single form of science there is to know. Whether it be applied sciences coupled with engineering to theoretical physics and experimental technology, Lex Luthor knows it well and can create almost anything his heart desires or his mind can design.
STRATEGY
Lex Luthor is a strategist of impeccable talent. With no inhibitions in regards to morality, this opens up an entirely different style of strategy and tactical planning from which to work towards victory. Lex Luthor always plans for the long term, ahead and creates back up plans to his originals in order to ensure himself a successful victory over his opponents and enemies.
SURVEILLANCE
Lex Luthor has a solid ability in keeping tabs on those that may not want to be watched. He's nowhere near the best in tailing or taking covert photos; he's more apt to hire a professional to deal with such things. Still, though, when he must do this himself, he has a solid enough understanding of surveillance techniques to function.
TECHNOLOGY
Lex Luthor is a master of technology. He has created tools, products, weaponry, vehicles and more that are all far beyond the scope of the average tech-head. His technological marvels are some of the most advanced technology on the planet, coming from his mind or reverse engineered from something more out of this world. In addition to the creation, he is more than capable of the modification, repair and upkeep of technology that may or may not be his own.
VILLAINOUS SCHEMES
Resources
BLACK ISLAND
Lex Luthor's private island serves as his base of evil operations. Hidden via technology and hard to find without Lex Luthor himself, the island serves as a shrine to Lex Luthor, by Lex Luthor and a villainous laboratory and criminal mastermind's lair. A Fortress of Eviltude, if you will.
CLONES
Lex Luthor has access to genetic replications of himself which allow for impersonation and other various uses. These clones are perfect in every way and kept under lock and key, unable to be released by anyone but Lex Luthor himself.
Restriction: TinyPlot Only.
CRIMINAL AFFAIRS
Lex Luthor is a criminal mastermind. As such, he knows and understands the criminal element like no other, has an incredibly far reaching network of criminals to call upon for a variety of different things and he is one of the kingpins of the Metropolis underworld.
HOPE & MERCY
Lex Luthor is constantly protected by two bodyguards named Hope & Mercy. It is rumored they may have Amazonian heritage far in their past but that has never been confirmed. However, this is only a rumor. It may have been spread by Lex and/or the pair themselves, to improve their reputations. They are fiercely loyal to Lex Luthor and will do almost anything he asks of them. If Lex Luthor were to have trusted confidants, these women would be them.
Mercy is typically the longer range specialist of the two (with a cybernetic prothesis for a right arm with a weaponized laser within), Hope tends to be more melee oriented, with shock gloves and other equipment used.
(Note: Players interested in applying for either are not shoehorned into these interpretations, if they're inclined to other incarnations. They can be applied for as cyborg or amazonian women. Meaning the descriptive of being tall, strong women. They cannot be applied for as actual Amazons as a species, at all on game. In other words, they are not from Themyscira or Bana-Mighdall or any other lost Amazon tribe.)
KRYPTONITE
Lex Luthor is in possession of Kryptonite. It is unknown just how much of this substance he has access to. However, a large chunk of LexCorp's resources are focused on the search and seizure of Kryptonite. The discovery of an element that can harm Superman has made this a constant top priority in the eyes of Lex Luthor.
Kryptonite Ring: Lex Luthor has fashioned himself a ring with a Kryptonite stone for protection and self-defense purposes.
Synthetic Kryptonite: Lex Luthor has managed to reverse engineer a form of Synthetic Kryptonite for mass use. It does not, at all, function with the same intensity and strength as natural Kryptonite. However, it does manage to function in a capacity of about fifteen percent of true Kryptonite, making it useful in a pinch or when used in bulk.
Player's Note: Synthetic Kryptonite will never actually be able to do substantial damage to a Kryptonian unless a TP for an upgraded version of it is approved. This exists as a roleplay enhancement plot device.
LEX CORP
Lex Luthor is the head of one of the biggest corporations in the world. Not only does LexCorp provide goods and services in a global capacity, it also provides jobs and turns an incredible profit for Lex Luthor and makes him obnoxiously wealthy. LexCorp is also the corporation from which all of Lex Luthor's criminal activities get their funding, as well as what he launders the money through on a large scale. LexCorp provides Lex Luthor with anything and everything that he could want or need in activities of all types, thus making it the ultimate plot device.
LEXCORP CORE STAFF
LexCorp provides more jobs for Metropolis than any other company in the city. Not only that but since LexCorp exists on a global scale, it provides a lot of jobs and a lot of opportunities for employment. There are a lot of subsidiaries, departments, divisions and such where people can work for Mr. Luthor.
Mona: Lex Luthor's Personal Assistant
Mercy Graves: Amazon Bodyguard. Confidant. "Bad Cop."
Hope Taya: Amazon Bodyguard. Confidant. "Good Cop."
Miss Eve Teschmacher: LexCorp Towers Receptionist.
Kitty Kowalski: Fangirl. Lackey. Nurse.
Otis: LexCorp Employee. Idiot. Lackey.
Sebastien Mallory: LexCorp Junior Executive.
LEXCORP SUBSIDIARIES
LexCorp is a massive conglomerate that has a vast number of corporate holdings and subsidiaries that fall underneath the far reaching hands of Lex Luthor. This is the backbone of LexCorp; each and every one of these companies provides Lex with more than enough resources throughout to keep LexCorp at the top where it belongs, as well as assist him with his obsession and the betterment of humanity under his guidance.
LEXCORP TOWERS
Designed in a double L shape, the towers provide Lex with a 307 story tall throne from which to rule Metropolis. The tallest building in the city, this is the headquarters for the entire LexCorp empire. From within the twin towers of egotistical bliss, Lex Luthor keeps heavy surveillance on his city, while also providing numerous goods, services and shopping areas within the huge structure. Due to the nature of Lex Luthor, there are also secret floors, labs, rooms that hide the true nature of Lex Luthor and LexCorp. Designed with the utmost in physical durability, top flight surveillance and security, LexCorp Towers is a fortress without the solitude, all wrapped up in a visually stimulating package. There's even a mall.
LEXTECH
Lex Luthor is the CEO and Founder of LexCorp. This gives him access to anything and everything that is related to the corporation; specifically the technology that is created within the walls of LexCorp facilities. Whatever is created can and will be used by Lex Luthor in any way, shape or form that he deems necessary. The possibilities for technological marvels through LexCorp are nigh-limitless.
LexCorp provides Lex Luthor with an incredible amount of technology. Each LexTech division provides Lex Luthor with access to advanced technology beyond the scope of basic human invention.
LexTech (BioTech): Lex Luthor is a master bioengineer himself and also has some of the best in the world on his payroll. Together, they work hard on biological equipment and medicinal products. He has state of the art technology when it comes to the examination and study of living things and uses this research to further his own product lines and selfish needs.
LexTech (Bionics): LexCorp is one of the leading corporations that offers bionic implants and replacement limbs at affordable pricing. Bionics from LexCorp are durable, useful and lifelike. They are also, ultimately, underneath the control of Lex Luthor via nanotechnology.
LexTech (Firearms): LexCorp makes a ton of money from weapons manufacturing. While he sells weapons and designs on a global scale, the American Military gets the bulk of the good stuff in a show of patriotism. Firearms range from pistols all the way up to advanced tech cannons.
LexTech (Protection): LexCorp is in the protection business also, designing protective armors, blast shields and other defensive measures for law enforcement agencies, private security forces and military groups. There are even some civilian models available to the general public.
LexTech (Melee): LexCorp provides a service to civilian and law enforcement agencies by designing and marketing a variety of non-lethal melee weaponry such as batons, tasers, staves and other basic and simple weaponry.
LexTech (Robotics): Robotics and artificial intelligence is one of the premiere technological marvels from LexCorp. The production of robots of all types, ranging from Security Sentries to Military Drones to Civilian Household Assistants or even Androids is a major part of LexCorp's manufacturing.
LexTech (Vehicles): Lex Luthor has fleets of vehicles at his disposal, thanks to LexCorp and various contracts with transportation services around the globe. Everything from cars to jets to boats and trains on the civilian side are available to the general public. Tanks, fighter jets and other more radical and violence causing designs are available in the private sector. All of these vehicles, and more, are available to Lex Luthor.
Note: Due to the Impossibility of writing up each and every single thing that Lex Luthor has access to, these blanket statements will have to do. Just know if it can exist through science, pseudo-science, comic physics... Lex Luthor probably has it. Or can build it.
PAWNS
Lex Luthor is a man with a lot of power and clout. Not only that, but he is not above using blackmail or intimidation or anything to get what he wants from people. That gives him a lot of Pawns to play with. Some of them are nothing more than humble civilians trying to make a living, while others are military types or even high ranking political figures. Being able to push them around like pawns on a chessboard can only improve Lex Luthor's chances of victory.
SECRET FILES
Lex Luthor is a very paranoid individual. However, he keeps good notes and records on almost every important figure that he comes across in his life. From Superheroes to Supervillains to Political Figures to Mutants and Aliens, there is a Secret File containing information, evidence and various other things that Lex Luthor will use to take advantage of a situation or a person. It's all about having the upper hand.
Note: Secret Files Contain Consent Based Information Only.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
The Special Projects division of LexCorp is where most of Lex Luthor's villainous attempts at alien destruction or global domination come from. These projects are only limited by Lex's imagination and resources and can surface as any number of different things. More often than not, they take the form of superpowered creatures of Lex's design in an attempt to battle the likes of Superman and his allies.
Examples: Nuclear Man, Meteor Freak of the Weak (ala Smallville)
Player's Note: Special Projects are a Plot Specific Device through which Lex Luthor can produce villainy. They will be established through Roleplay and appropriate foreshadowing in the case of TPs. Otherwise, these "projects" may exist for One Shots and Random Acts of Villainy.
TEAM LUTHOR
Lex Luthor's private security force is known as Team Luthor. They patrol and secure every single facility that belongs to LexCorp and are also available for Lex Luthor's personal use. They are nothing short of a privatized military force that are extremely loyal to Lex Luthor and exist to serve the Man of Tomorrow. They are extremely well trained, significantly armed and make the Metropolis Police Department look like Rent-A-Cops.
WARSUIT
Months of research of key components of Brainiac technology, recovered by Luthor's science team, has rewarded them with new insights into the field of Cybernetics. While the alien technology, even after almost a year of intense study, is still well beyond even Luthor's expertise to reproduce on the same miniaturized scale (They may understand the WAY it works but don't have the tools to make exact replication, nor the tools to make the tools needed, even. That is a few technological generations away) the insights made by the study have allowed Luthor to create new systems that, while not at the EXACT same power and capability level of similarly scaled mechanical suits in use by others, is still pretty comparable. There is also the extra benefit of being divergent enough in design that there is no question of patent violations. This is SOLELY Luthor Tech and can be patented as such.
The Mark 1 Warsuit
Robotic Strength: The Warsuit's strength amplifiers enable Lex to carry up to 60 tons.
Armored Durability: Complex armor material in combination with an internal structural forcefield passively generated across the armor's surface, enables the suit to withstand blows from weapons as powerful as a battle tank's main cannon. It even allows the wearer to withstand a number of blows from Kryptonian Level beings, but not indefinitely. A number of such attacks (6-10) will eventually deplete the structural forcefield.
Force Shield: The Warsuit is able to project a secondary energy shield installed from the left gauntlet, able to withstand a number of blows from Kryptonian level beings.
Flight: Powerful miniaturized inertial thrusters enable the suit to take flight, with speeds up to 500 miles an hour
Energy Blade: Housed in the right gauntlet, the suit can generate a blade of super-heated plasma that takes the energetic characteristics of whatever material fuels/focuses it. Its default setting is strong enough to cut through medium tank armor as if it were butter.
Cyberpathic Interface: One of the few systems that is genuinely more advanced than many versions of mechanical suits, this system was backwards engineered from Brainiac Technology. A Neural net interface, it allows the wearer to control the suit WITHOUT the need of a support AI by utilizing the user's brain as its's processor. The more brain power the wearer has, the more efficient the systems/ability to hack, analyze sensors, etc. There are flaws to this direct connection as well, such as if the target is mind-controlled or unconscious, there is no AI to assist.
Advanced Sensors: The Warsuit's sensor suit is by far one of the most advanced on Earth, able to detect and analyze on multiple frequencies/spectrums/scales.
Energy Projector: Thee Energy Projector in the palms of the gauntlets and the chest is a system that can be used as a ranged weapon. Like the plasma blade, the beams characteristics (radiation, energy type, etc.) depend on the material focal component. The default focal component allows the wearer to fire a standard repulsor-like energy/force beam capable of pushing back an Abrams tank.
Modular Components: The Warsuit has a number of Plug'n'play points that allows the wearer to add the 'newest' and 'most advanced' additions to it but...
Weakness - Superiority: The Suit's greatest flaw is its alien-based 'superior' technology. While the suit can indeed do many great things, there is always a bug or some process that Lex or his people misses in their willingness to discard old proven technology without having fully perfected the new can have deleterious effects.
WEALTH
Lex Luthor is one of the richest people in the world. His money is long and his pockets are deep. There is very little that Lex Luthor can't afford.
WELL CONNECTED
Weaknesses
ARROGANCE
One of Lex Luthor's biggest flaws is his arrogance. He generally doesn't care about others (the exceptions being Mercy and Hope) unless their traits are crucial to the success of his latest schemes. Beyond that, he's ready, willing, and very able to discard anyone else as flawed pawns if Lex comes out ahead in the arrangement. In the end, Lex Luthor is the only one that can guide Mankind to greatness... and others are just stepping stones to that goal.
ENEMIES
Lex Luthor is a man with a lot of enemies. They range from citywide to global to even an out of this world scale. These enemies run the gamut of Good to Evil. Lex Luthor has crossed those on all sides of the morality spectrum and often finds himself facing all challengers to his throne.
EVERYTHING IS DISPOSABLE
In the end, there's only one thing that matters to Lex Luthor: creating a perfect Earth, with himself as the leader of Mankind. Except for Hope and Mercy, everyone and everything else is just a step towards that perfect future.
MAN OF STEEL
This one alien represents the biggest obstacle to the plans of Lex Luthor to guide humankind into a Better Tomorrow... as he can tear down anything we build at his whim. As such, he is the single greatest threat to Earth... and *MUST* be dealt with, one way or another.
MEGALOMANIAC
Lex Luthor cannot and will not settle for anything less that complete and total domination over Metropolis and the world. With the world rapidly changing due to the sheer number of superpowered individuals popping up (the cherry on top being Superman, as always) Lex sees himself as the only man on the planet capable of saving the Earth from human extinction or being ruled by iron fist by said individuals. This tunnel vision can lead to all sorts of problems with social interaction from his 'lessers'.
MISGUIDED BELIEFS
Lex Luthor is insane, that's obvious. His insanity is on such a level that he actually believes himself to be the Hero in this whole Superman situation. While he has no misconceptions about the things that he does being wrong, to Lex Luthor, the ends always justify the means.
PARANOID
Lex Luthor trusts no one but himself, Hope & Mercy. Beyond that very small inner circle Lex brings whatever resources he needs to to bear to gather every single bit of information on person he comes into contact with. His paranoid justifications can range into the truly absurd if the subject is a priority to learn about.
PAST
Lex Luthor has a very shady past. There are many unsolved mysteries that surround the myth of Lex Luthor as well as the man. At any given point in time that past could reach up to the present and bite him in his expensive ass.
REPUTATION
To those that can see past the philanthropist Lex Luthor has a very cruel and very dangerous reputation. Lex can only control what people say about him to a certain degree and it is what he cannot control that may put wrinkles in his public facade. A lot of times, Lex Luthor's reputation is what stands in the way of progress.
