Profile
Project Kr is the code name for a top secret project of Cadmus. Not much is known about him other than he is somehow related to Superman. But anyone looking at him could deduce that.

A young man in his mid-teens. He stands tall and is built like a quarterback. Strong upper body strength, and muscular where he needs to be. He wears a blue and red suit, fashioned angular on his midsection. The arms of his suit are a deep metallic red with golden accents around his forearms. A gold and red S-shield symbol adorns his chest, along with a deep red cape, attached to the suit with golden clasps.
History

Project Apollo was the name given to the attempts at reverse engineering an incomplete extraterrestrial vessel Cadmus was able to recover from Smallville, Kansas. In the year 2025, the Project was able to not only activate the part of the vessel(which was a Kryptonian Genesis Chamber), but with a small collection of cellular samples of Superman's, work began on making a complete clone.
According to Cadmus, they knew that they would only get one or two chances at making this clone, so great care was taken to give the Genesis Chamber enough genetic material to create a viable clone. After the clone had gestated, Project Kr was imparted the knowledge of a seventeen year old. This was designed to keep him in check and under Cadmus' thumb. With the energy differences between the Kryptonian and Terran technology, the Genesis Chamber had started to malfunction beyond the repair abilities of Cadmus, they had two choices: scrap the project and lose thirty years of work, or deliver the 'premature' clone as he was and hope they could complete the project within their parameters. Cadmus decided on the former, and thus Project Kr was born.

Superboy is pretty much a happy guy, he doesn't quite realize who he is, and is a bit of a puppydog. He does what his handlers at Cadmus have him do. He is let out to test things, and to do his heroing.
As far as existential problems go, he doesn't really know how to deal with them. Only that it is just very confusing.

KRYPTONIAN
Kryptonians are highly evolved, long-lived humanoids from a huge planet with high gravity. They also have the ability to store solar energy and use it to fuel vast powers, but even without solar energy Conner is weakened to a relative human level of his age.
SOLAR ENERGY POWERS
For unknown reasons (possibly ancient genetic engineering) Kryptonians under the radiation of yellow stars generate a battery of energy that activates vast superpowers. Being a teenager, Conner's energy reserves are small compared with adult Kryptonians. But he is still growing, and his real potential (which will take over a decade to develop) is roughly half of Superman's. So Conner will be moving mountains when he is in his 30s. Right now it takes Conner about six hours to fully recharge. He can sustain his powers indefinitely as long as he is receiving radiation, but indoors or during the night he might deplete his power if he uses them extensively for a few hours.
Right now he can lift about 200 tons at maximum. He is also tough enough to stand impacts of equivalent strength. He can fly, with enough power to reach escape velocity and achieve an orbit in space. But this would expend great amounts of energy to do so. For the time being, he wouldn't be leaving Earth.
He doesn't physically tires unless he has depleted his solar energy reserves. He still mentally tires and needs to sleep, but much less than a normal human. He regenerates very quickly, even healing broken bones in mere minutes, and can survive injures that would kill outright any normal human.
He can survive without breathing, although this taps directly from his energy reserves and will exhaust them in a few hours.
He can move fast. He is not supersonic (yet) but he can outrun any land vehicle. His reflexes are also such that he can catch arrows in flight and dodge bullets (which he can see because of his enhanced senses).
He has a vision range that goes deep into the infrared and microwaves (he can see radar stations glowing from orbit) and the ultraviolet. He can see in complete darkness. He can focus his eyes into very distant or very close ranges, having limited telescopic and microscopic vision. He can hear high frequencies, like a dog, and his aural acuity allows him to hear heartbeats at a hundred yards, and listen to conversations at twice that.
He can expel stored solar energy from his eyes in the form of infrared radiation. This 'heat vision' will deplete his energy reserves very quickly. Conner can reach maybe temperatures of 1000 Celsius. Enough to melt most metals with enough concentration.
It should be noted Conner does not have, or maybe has not figured yet how to use, X-ray vision or super-breath. along with his early 'birthing' from the Genesis Chamber, his powers are still fledgling, at any given time he could find himself unable to use his Kryptonian powers. DEPENDENT
Project Kr doesn't quite know what all is needed to make ones way in the world. Since he's been taken care of all his short life. This is also a way for Cadmus to make sure he stays under their thumb, so to speak.

Kryptonite radiation is deadly to Kryptonians and Conner is no exception, as it would affect him strongly. The presence of Kryptonite causes intense pain and negates Conner's powers and will cause him go unconscious after a minute exposure or so. Enough time under the radiation might kill him.
