Profile

Having discovered Batman's secret identity as a child, through a fateful twist of events, Tim Drake fought crime in Gotham City for years as Robin, the Teen Wonder. In that time he made friends, enemies and even expanded his horizons and pushed himself towards becoming a hero in his own right.

Now, emerging from beneath the Shadow of the Bat, he continues to fight for justice as both a Gotham Knight and a Titan, taking to the skies and flying high as Red Robin.

COMPUTER HACKING

Red Robin has the ability to design, repair, network, hack, edit, manage, and otherwise understand the workings of a computer. This includes both hardware and software as it relates to computer systems. He has a particular aptitude for exploiting the weaknesses in a computer system.

CONDITIONING

Red Robin began intensive physical and mental conditioning when he was only 13. He has adhered to a strict diet since he was 15. He's still working on attaining total mastery over his body. He strives to become the pinnacle of human perfection. He has greater strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and conditioning than is traditionally thought possible for a baseline human. He is certainly one of the most well rounded athletes in history. Biofeedback treatments can be used to stimulate muscle contraction to maintain his physique.

DEDUCTION

Red Robin uses his keenly honed observational skills, forensic practices, inductive and deductive reasoning, plus his wealth of experience to solve life's little mysteries. He can arrive at the correct conclusion with only a fraction of the data at his disposal. He's that good.

DISGUISES

Red Robin is just one of Tim's aliases. His other current aliases include Alvin Draper, Cal Corcoran, and Gary Glanz. Using accessories, dialects, mannerisms, and prosthetics, he can become someone else. Using them, he can go to places that Red Robin could not.

EIDETIC MEMORY

Red Robin has the ability to recall scents, sights, and sounds from memory with almost unerring clarity.

ESCAPE ARTIST

Red Robin is not the world's Greatest Escape Artist. That title is reserved for another. But Red Robin is probably high on the list. Bonds, restraints, confined spaces, no matter what imprisons him; it is only a matter of time before he escapes.

INDOMITABLE WILL

If Red Robin has a superpower, it is his indomitable will. Because of this unwavering determination, he is able to stare down beings of God-like power. His allies and intellect certainly help, but with or without the gadgets, the tricks, or the toys, Robin is a force to be reckoned with. He can push his body to its very limits. He will overcome that which would break a lesser man. It could be argued that he has the strongest will of all of Batman's protégés, both current and former. It is for this reason that Ra's al Ghul fears Red Robin above all others.

INTERROGATION

When his frightening presence proves insufficient, Red Robin turns to his interrogation techniques. It would not be out of place to describe his methods as torture. But he is not bound by any conventions. He is a vigilante. One of his favourite techniques is to hang a person upside down, and by one leg, over a precipice, usually the edge of a building. Fear can be an excellent motivator. He learned from the best.

INTIMIDATION

The scientific community generally regards Batman and Robin (Red Robin not being well known yet) as mere legends, given the lack of conclusive evidence. This lends itself to their fearsome presence. Even those who know and trust them also fear them. No matter what the circumstance, it is always unsettling to be around them. While nowhere near as good as his partner, Red Robin can be terrifying when he wants to be.

LEADERSHIP

Red Robin has experience and charisma. He is a natural leader. He can command a group of heroes in a great battle. With the Titans, he would prefer to take a backseat or advisory role, but as the old adage says, some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.

MARTIAL ARTS

Red Robin has a truly unique fighting style. He was taught a mixture of several different forms of martial arts. Because of this, his anticipation of his opponents' attacks borders on precognition. His style is an idiosyncratic mixture of Boxing, Capoeira, Chinese martial arts, Judo, Jujutsu, Muay Thai, Ninjutsu, and Tae Kwon Do. Arguably the weakest martial artist amongst Batman's current and former protégés, Red Robin is still a very capable fighter. Where he excels above his fellow Bat clan is with the use of the bo staff. Thanks to training from Shiva, he is one of the more formidable people on the planet with that particular weapon.

POLYGLOT

Red Robin is fluent in Arabic, English, Mandarin, and Spanish. He is currently learning Russian.

POLYMATH

Red Robin is training in a complex body of knowledge. This includes, but is not limited to, Biology, Chemistry, Computers, Criminology, Engineering, Forensics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Medicine, Mythology, Physics, and Technology. He uses his keenly analytical mind to fight crime, protect Gotham, and serve humanity. There is little that he could not achieve once he puts his mind to it. This is why Ra's al Ghul fears him so.

STEALTH

Ninjutsu training has made Red Robin a master of stealth and infiltration techniques. While remaining within the confines of a hotel room, he has managed to evade detection for more than ten minutes, all while being actively searched for. With the aid of his gadgetry, he can breach high security facilities.

STRATEGY

Red Robin may be a master tactician, but he is a truly remarkable strategist. In the moment, he will use the vagaries of the situation to his advantage. But give him adequate time to prepare, and he is nigh unstoppable.

TRACKING

The techniques may be very different, but Red Robin can track a subject across the concrete jungle, or through a natural one. He was trained by Batman, who in turn was trained by the Ghost Tribes of the Ten-Eyed Brotherhood.

VEHICLES

The R-Cycle is one of the most sophisticated pieces of machinery on the road today. But a motorcycle is only as good as its driver, and Robin is an expert. He is comfortable behind the wheel of boat, car, helicopter, motorcycle, plane, or even submarine, even if Batman usually likes to drive. Whatever the vehicle, he can operate and maintain it.

WEAPONRY

In mastering a unique form of martial arts, Red Robin has also become familiar with all terrestrial melee weapons. He has mastered the bo staff. With the notable and deliberate exception of firearms, he is also quite adept with ranged weaponry. However, he has a definite preference for unarmed combat. When the situation calls for it, everyday household and office items can become the most dangerous of weapons.

BATARANG

Red Robin's signature weapon is the batarang. There are no gimmicks there; just a sculpted piece of weighted metal used as a throwing star. Variations include a boomerang-like model, collapsible models, and one's with razor-sharp edges. His are designed with the Red Robin emblem in yellow upon them.

BAT BEACON

There is a reason people who have met Red Robin wonder if he is supernatural. When they are in the vicinity, he can activate his bat beacon to draw hundreds of ordinary bats to his location in order to create a highly effective diversion.

BATBOAT

The batboat is the generic term Red Robin uses for all of the watercraft he has used over the years. The current batboat is capable of submerged operations.

BAT-BOMB

Being no larger than a golf ball, Red Robin's bat-bombs are powerful and compact. He typically uses them to break down walls, barriers, or obstructions. He does not use them offensively, though against a meta-human, he might consider it.

BATCAVE

The batcave serves as Batman and Robin's (thus Red Robin as well) command centre. From there, they monitors crisis points in Gotham and beyond. It houses the batcomputer, their extra suits, vehicles, gadgets, and a number of souvenirs they've accumulated over the years. It is located underneath Stately Wayne Manor. They have a number of secondary batcaves scattered throughout Gotham, and tertiary ones in certain other cities.

BAT-COMM

Red Robin's mask includes a sophisticated communications device. He is able to send and receive audio messages. He can also direct it to focus on a specific area, and thus eavesdrop on a seemingly private conversation.

BAT COMPUTER

Even though Robin is easily one of the smartest people on the planet, he is not infallible. He carries a portable bat computer, which is capable of linking with the one in the batcave, to provide him with instant access to a wealth of information. There is virtually no limit to what he can access through it.

BAT-CUFFS

When he has to restrain a villain, Red Robin makes use of his specially designed bat-cuffs. They function more or less like handcuffs, except that they are considerably more durable, and difficult to escape from. When tracking a specific meta-human, Red Robin will sometimes employ a custom variant of these.

BATMAN FAMILY

Over the years, Batman has taken on a number of apprentices, Red Robin included. Some of them have graduated and gone on to become heroes in their own right. Others weren't so lucky. But they are a cadre of highly trained operatives who are loyal to each other.

BATMOBILE

Batman and Robin's signature vehicle is the batmobile. It has undergone numerous rebuilds, with each new version being an improvement on the last. The batmobile is as durable as a tank, and as fast as a race car. Rebuilding it is therapeutic. Although he is now the Red Robin, Tim still has access to the Batmobile.

BAT-NET

Prior to use, the Bat-Net looks like a tiny mechanical bat. But when thrown and activated, the bat explodes, shooting out a sophisticated net that tightly wraps around and bounds his enemies within seconds, cocooning them in its wiry mesh.

BATPLANE

Red Robin cannot fly, but with the batplane, he can get around this deficiency. It's not the most practical vehicle for fighting crime in Gotham, but it does allow him to visit other cities and fulfil his Titans obligations.

BAT SIGNAL

The Gotham City Police Department has specially modified searchlight that is powerful enough to project a bat-shaped signal in the sky. It is usable only at night. When they have need of Batman and Robin, they can use it, and the dynamic duo will respond. Now that the mantle of Robin has passed to Damian, Red Robin still will respond to such alerts.

BAT-TRACER

Small in size and virtually weightless, Red Robin can pick up the signal from his bat-tracers virtually anywhere in the world. But that requires the use of a satellite network. Typically, he employs a device that can pick up the signal from about a dozen blocks away, depending on what kind of interference there is.

BOOT PROPELLERS

Red Robin's boots contain miniaturized propellers that allow him to glide effortlessly through the water. When combined with his rebreather, he is just as agile under the water as an Atlantean would be. But pressure is still an issue.

CRYPTOGRAPHIC SEQUENCER

The Cryptographic Sequencer is a device that Red Robin can use to hack into nearby security systems, disable locks, jam or listen in on radios, affect computers, and many other electrical devices. It can do this by finding the right frequency to fool the device into thinking that it has received authentic instructions.

ELECTROMAGNET

At all times, Red Robin carries a miniature electromagnet with him. This is capable of erasing any video or audio device. Because of this, there is minimal conclusive proof that Batman and Robin even exist. This has been aided by the use of various computer viruses and software designed to find suspected proof of their existence, and erase it. These programs have been built into every widely used operating system since the early 2010's. Although many people have seen Batman and Robin, few of them can prove it.

EXPLOSIVE GEL

When Red Robin needs to bypass some security and he doesn't care about damaging it, or speed is of the essence, he uses explosive gel. It comes in an aerosol that becomes gelatinous on contact with the air. He can then trigger the explosion.

GAS PELLETS

When Red Robin needs to incapacitate a large number of people in a confined space, he uses gas pellets. They are non-lethal and make use of anesthesia. Depending on the number of people and the area, he may have to use several pellets.

GAUNTLETS

Red Robin's edged gauntlets are razor-sharp and can be used to catch or deflect bladed weapon attacks, dig into the sides of buildings, or be used as a slashing weapon. They also add to the fearsome image he likes to project.

GOTHAM

Gotham is the single biggest home field advantage in the world today. Red Robin doesn't just know Gotham. He knows the guy who redesigned it. Batman has arranged for the government to re-route tunnels, built safe houses, created a network of hiding places, transfer points, security cameras, or added other features for the benefit of the Batman Family. Much of this has been done piecemeal by various companies under the Wayne Enterprises' umbrella, but some of it was by dummy corporations. Gotham isn't just any city. It's their city.

GRAPPLING GUN

Secondary to the Batarang is Red Robin's grappling gun. With Gotham's towering spires, he needed a means of quickly reaching the rooftop and this was his answer. By firing a cable that can attach to virtually any structure, Red Robin is able to propel himself in that direction, as well as one other. Over the years, it has gotten smaller and smaller. Today, it can attach to his utility belt.

LIE DETECTOR

Already a master of interrogation, Red Robin has an unfair advantage. The Red Robin Suit has the ability to measure a subject's body temperature, heart rate, and a few other telling factors. When combined with his intuition, it creates a powerful tool. It may not work on aliens, but humans, it has them dead to rights.

MASK LENSES

Red Robin's eyes are completely white. That's not artistic license. His mask incorporates a pair of high-tech lenses that can provide him with night vision, thermal vision, x-ray vision, and a host of other useful optical settings.

MEMORY CLOTH CAPE

Red Robin's cape is not just a fashion statement. Like everything else about him, it is eminently practical. By transmitting an electrical current through his gloves, the cape becomes a rigid pair of wings for gliding through the city.

R-CYCLE

The R-Cycle isn't as powerful as the batmobile. It doesn't have as many gadgets. But it is more manoeuvrable, able to navigate areas of Gotham that the batmobile cannot. Red Robin uses it when out on patrol by himself or while working with the Titans.

REBREATHER

Whenever Red Robin's adventures take him into the water, he employs a rebreather. This device converts oxygen in the water into breathable air. He inhales through the rebreather, and exhales through his nostrils.

RED ROBIN SUIT

Red Robin wears a sophisticated suit of body armour. It does nothing to augment his physical abilities, though it does provide a great deal of protection while not interfering with his athletic prowess. All of his weaponry, gadgets, and so forth are stored in, on, or are part of the suit. There is a specific order to removing it. If someone tried to remove part of it out of order, they would receive a nasty shock. By the time they woke up, he would be gone.

SMOKE PELLETS

Smoke pellets can be used as a distraction, or a diversion. When thrown, they may draw people away from their present location, or mask his escape. The special lenses in his cowl allow him to see while immersed in this smoke.

TITANS

Red Robin is a founding member and the nominal leader of the Titans. Despite this, the Titans are something he does on the side. His first priority is and always will be Gotham. Batman has drilled that into him for years. But when the Titans needs help, and they will, they can call him.

UTILITY BELT

A distinctive yellow utility belt adorns Red Robin's waist. It houses all manner of gadgets. He tries to be prepared for anything, and with this, he's not far off.

WAYNE MANOR

Tim Drake resides at 1007 Mountain Drive in the Crest Hill, which is technically outside the bounds of Gotham in the Bristol Township. It is better known as Stately Wayne Manor. An 18th century country house, it was constructed in the English style, and is considered one of the finest examples of the greatest houses of the Victorian era. It also happens to sit upon a natural cave.

XK-1996G

With so many aliens popping up lately, Red Robin has begun to take an interest in meteorites. He knows that it's a long shot, but he hopes to learn something tangible from them. He's still going through his collection, but among them is unknown element K, which was found in 1996, and is of the green variety.

BATMAN FAMILY

In the absence of Jack and Janet Drake, Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth have been Red Robin's surrogate parents. All the good that Red Robin will ever do, is at least partially thanks to their work. Were anything to happen to them, Red Robin wouldn't stop until he could avenge them. It would be terrible... possibly code-breaking terrible. He cares about the other members of the Batman Family, but Batman is like a father to him, and Alfred, a grandfather.

CODE

Robin will not kill under any circumstances. He will not use firearms. He drew a line in the sand on that, and it is a line he absolutely will not cross. He believes in justice, plain and simple. He's what some people would call neutral good. He holds lawful authorities in high regard, but that does not mean he won't step all over their jurisdiction in blatant disregard for their duties.

CONTROLLING

Batman is a man who is not accustomed to hearing the word no. People tend to do things his way, whether they want to or not. Red Robin doesn't like to give up control lightly either, having learned from Batman, though there are times where he prefers to sit back and observe. Still, no matter how qualified the people are around him, he tends to think that he is more qualified, another of those life lessons from Batman. The worst part of it, for the other people, is that neither nor Batman are often wrong about that one.

GUILT

Red Robin does not kill, but his enemies do not share that belief. Every time someone he has captured later escapes and hurts someone, he is partially responsible. He had the opportunity to end their evil for good, and he didn't. He can't. He won't. But he still feels the weight of that decision every day. Thanks to his eidetic memory, he remembers each and every one of them.

HUMAN

Red Robin is a magnificent specimen of the human species. He has pushed himself to the veritable limits of human ability, both mentally and physically. But at the end of the day, he is still, only human. He exists in a world of meta-humans, people who don't need to adhere to a strict diet and training regimen. There are those who could crush him like an insect. And yet he manages to be. It is anything but easy. He knows that every time he leaves the batcave, it may be the last. So far, he's managed to stay one step ahead. But his days are numbered.

OBSESSION

Red Robin would prefer to think of himself as determined, but obsessed would be a better word for it. He is totally dedicated to his craft. Once he sets his mind about something, he has difficulty thinking about anything else. His obsession has led him to discover Batman's true identity, and become Robin. He has abandoned all hope of a normal life.

ROGUES GALLERY

Batman's enemies are Red Robin's enemies, and Batman has been at this for a long time, so it should come as no surprise that he's amassed a very long list of enemies. They've on the lookout for the slightest sign of weakness in him, and Red Robin desperately wants to avoid becoming the weak link. He's had his setbacks, his defeats, but he always comes back that much stronger. At this point, people look upon facing the Batman and Robin, as well as Red Robin, as a badge of honour. If they've fought them, that's their 'in' to the popular crowd.

SECRET IDENTITY

Red Robin will go to extraordinary lengths to protect his secret identity. He would rather die than to place his parents, Batman, Alfred, or anyone else he cares about in danger, and what's more, he's suffered the bruises for it. He will not use his skills in the presence of witnesses.

SELF-SACRIFICING

Red Robin is self-sacrificial. He will become estranged from his friends; his family, put off his studies, and risk his life for a good cause. He is a hero. It's who he is. He will leap into dangerous situations headfirst and damn the consequences. He is driven to become a better hero like Batman, but just like his mentor, the better a hero he becomes, the more he will have to give up. It's a vicious cycle.

Waterfront Rescue	August 31st, 2017	The heroes arrive at the port, encountering henchment guarding a warehouse. On the approach, they are challenged by Mammoth and Shimmer, who duel with Wonder Girl and then withdraw, while others sneak into the warehouse, just as Damian effects his own escape. Inside, they discover Doctor Light seemingly in charge, though he bickers with Ravager. The team engages, with Colette and Kaelyn destroying some of the power-dampening machinery within while battling Light as he draws power from Cassie's lasso, lashing out with powerful attacks. Cassie meets Ravager's sword to give Damian an opening, and then Light seemingly destroys him with much of the rest of the building before being subdued. Saving a falling Wonder Girl and taking Light into custody, the group escapes, with Ravager seemingly the only casualty of the incident.
