AMPHIBIOUS

As a native Atlantean and someone born beneath the water, Mera is completely amphibious and can breathe just as easily on land as under the water.

ENHANCED SENSES

Mera suffers no penalties to see within the pitch blackness of the deep ocean and find her vision in such depths no different than upon normal land. She also has a better hearing than most humans and is able to detect high and low frequencies with relative ease from a distance.

HYDROKINESIS

Mera is one of the more powerful known Hydrokinetics and possesses the ability to manipulate water in many ways. She can solidify paths of water capable of bearing weight so that she can walk upon the surface or ride it to carry her great heights and distances - even mimicking the effects of flight. In addition to commanding the tides such as generating huge waves or holding them back, she also possesses the ability to solidify water into what can best be called 'hard water'. In turn she can convert this 'hard water' to form shields, weapons, or utilize it as concussive blasts to take down her opponents and enemies. Upon a more deadly scale, Mera can even manipulate water to draw it from the bodies of others causing a measure of dehydration. It should be noted, however, that impressive feats such as those required to calling huge tidal waves or trying to keep them at bay is incredibly taxing upon her and may result in nosebleeds, fainting, or further physical damage and drain upon her energies.

SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY

Mera is made of tough stuff and possesses a high-level of durability on both land and under the sea. She is impervious to the pressures of the deep ocean and is able to withstand the impact of bullets upon land.

SUPERHUMAN SPEED

Mera is an incredibly fast swimmer, being of full Atlantean descent, and capable of breaking speeds of 300 mph with relative ease. Because of her full-Atlantean composition, she is faster underwater than Aquaman.

SUPER LEAPING

Mera us capable of super leaping great distances and at great heights. She can further amplify this with her Hydrokinetic powers.

SUPER STRENGTH

Mera possesses a great level of superhuman strength rumored to be akin if not strong than Wonder Woman, however the rumors have never quite been tested. She is capable of lifting and tosses several tons (anywhere between 30 - 50) with ease from a simple automobile to an armored car. She is also capable of ripping through most restraints and metal barriers.

HAND TO HAND EXPERT

As a trained assassin, Mera is a hand to hand combative expert. She frequently pairs this with her super strength and Hydrokinesis to engage in lethal attacks. This is a skill she is capable of enacting both on land and underwater with the same ease.

SWIMMING

Mera is an expert swimmer, since she's lived in it just about all her life. As such, she can swim very fast in water. It takes no real skill at all for her to cover distances at a rate of 300 mph.

BIDENT

With only two tines at it's top, the Bident is the two point version of the trident. Mera can wield this Bident expertly, channel her hydrokinesis with it....and, in times of great need, channel lightning through it, which is devastating in the ocean.

SCALE SUIT

Mera is nearly always wearing her custom form-fitted scale suit which provides extra protection and durability against attacks. The suit can enhance her durability to bulletproof status.

A relic that can contain recorded memories and dialog from the user, in order to convey their memories to future generations.

DEHYDRATION

If she is ever dehydrated, Mera is a huge disadvantage, since she can't use her Hydrokinesis, among other things.

OUTSIDER OF ATLANTIS

Originally from Xebel, Mera is seen as an outsider by the people of Atlantis. As such, with much of the people of Atlantis she is not trusted, despite Arthur's trust in her.

TEMPERAMENTAL

Mera has a bit of a temper and can be quick to anger. She is not the most tolerant person at times and has quite a knack for holding a grudge.
