Profile
Life was good for Jennifer Takeda. Honor Student, on track for a scholarship, rich parents, and in love with her boyfriend, or at least as much as they could be in the 21st Century. Until one day during a make out session, her boyfriend keeled over and started foaming at the mouth. With her boyfriend in a coma from exposure to a neurotoxin, doctors worried she was exposed too, until testing revealed that she was the source. Everything in her body was toxic; her spit could kill a lab rat. All-American girl one day, walking W.M.D. the next. Desperate for a return to normality, she jumped at Norman Osborn's offer to fix her, help her to get her powers under control again. However, he made her worse. Her dog died, and her parents nearly did too. Turning to the Avengers for help, she was left sealed in a containment suit, unable to get close to anyone from fear of a suit breach, and with a tongue as acid as some of her bodily fluids. Easier to push everyone away, keep them at a distance in case she blew up. Turns out that life's harder as a Young Avenger than as a normal high school girl, especially when even your teammates unconsciously flaunt the life you can't have.
