Jade Nguyen is a very smart, very strong woman. She enjoys Science and even a little Gardening. As Cheshire, she is one of the worlds most deadly assassins. Using a blend of weapons and poisons, she is very much able to not only take down individual super heroes but do a number on super-heroic teams all by her lonesome. Cheshire is no one to be trifled with, and should always be considered armed and dangerous.

A woman of Vietnamese origin, She has long, jet black hair which is often wild and untamed. She is youthful in appearance, looking to be in her low to mid 20's.

Looking down over her body, She is beyond fit. She is flat out muscular. She has subtle curves, enough to show her femininity. A grapefruit sized bustline leads down into nothing short of an 8-pack of abs. Her legs are long and her thighs are exceptionally strong.

She usually is wearing her trademark short, green robed-dress which is accented with gold. A gold belt wraps around the midsection and around the arms. A pair of green thigh-boots clings to her legs which are topped with gold and have gold kneepads on them. She usually wears a Cheshire Cat Mask that has a very creepy grin on it. When she is not wearing this, she is wearing a green headband and on occasion some violet face paint.

History

Born in Vietnam, Jade Nguyen grew up in a Single Parent home. Her mother took care of her. Her father, An American diplomat, had hooked up with a young Vietnamese woman. She was the product of these encounter.

At age 10, Jade and her mother went traveling. She was separated from her mother. While trying to reunite with her mother, she was captured and sold into slavery. She hated it. She hated it with all she was. Finally she snapped and killed her Master.

Eventually she had a run in with a man. A Freedom Fighter. The man's name was Wen Ch'ang. He took her in and began teaching her everything he knew about fighting and Guerilla Warfare. She started to view him as a father figure. She learned a number of martial arts, Some of which no longer exist.

At age 16, she married an assassin named Kruen Musenda aka Spitting Cobra. He taught her about poisons showing her how to make them, how to use them, and how to mask their presence when needed. Within 2 years, She had learned all she could from him and then started seeking out more knowledge on the subject. Then she showed her husband just how much she had learned, leaving him dead. This was the birth of Cheshire.

Eventually she discovered who her genetic father was. She also discovered that he abused his mom in the short time they were together. That alone was enough. Moving to America, The Cheshire Cat was on the hunt for the now Senator, Bob Pullman. She was patient, taking time to get her GED and to hone her abilities. Even now, she is waiting for the right moment. That all important moment to strike and rid the world of the man who dared strike her mother...

Jade is a very serious woman who takes a lot of joy in what she does. She cares very much about family and those close to her. So much so that woe to anyone who even thinks about harming them. She is also very sharp. She is quick thinking and can usually figure out how to figure things out. She can be very caring and very loving but when she's on the job, she is cold and dark as a winter's night.

ACROBAT
Jade is triple jointed. This makes her moves appear nigh impossible to pull off. This compounds with her natural agility making her a very real threat. When it appears she's been captured, she may still have a way out.

GARDENING
An ability that goes with her Toxicology training, She had to learn how to use plants to extract poisons. As such, she often grow some of the more nasty plants so she can extract the toxins from them and make her own poisons.

MARTIAL ARTS
After she killed her Slave Master, She met up with a man who taught her martial arts and guerilla warfare. She learned various styles of Kung Fu, Changquan, and Vovinam. She continues training these skills to this day.

MULTILINGUAL
Jade can speak several languages including Vietnamese, English, Chinese, and Japanese. She can speak most of these because of where she grew up. Chinese when she was searching for her mother, Japanese from her 'father' and English from her first husband.

SPEED
Cheshire is fast. Not superhuman fast but definitely Olympic level fast. Combined with her agility and acrobatics she is able to get the drop on those who could be far faster then her.

TACTICIAN
Cheshire knows how to get things done. She knows how to plan an attack and turn a situation to her favor. She will plan out an assassination to the point that no matter what might happen, she is going to get her target.

TOXICOLOGY
In the two years that Jade was married to Spitting Cobra, She learned about poisons. Once Spitting Cobra taught her all he knew, She began studying more about it through books, the internet, and any other source she could find. After the loss of her dearly departed husband, she continued to study this area. She can make poisons that weaken, poisons that kill, and poisons that are undetectable in food and drink. She typically coats her melee weapons in her poisons.

WEAPONS SPECIALIST

Cheshire is an expert when it comes to a number of weapons. The main Melee weapons she specializes with are the Katana, the Sais and her metal claws which slip over her fingers. The main firearms she will use are the Sniper Rifle and a pair of .45 semi-automatic pistols with suppressors on them. She prefers not to use firearms though. They are loud and draw too much attention.

MASK
Cheshire frequently will use a Cheshire Cat mask. This mask has several useful things to it, including Night vision and air filters which prevent toxins from getting to her through the air.

MONEY
Jade has money from her life as Cheshire. Some people pay good money for having people eliminated. She also can work as an interpreter if she needs to as she knows several languages. All in all she has the funds to keep in business.

SAFE HOUSES

Cheshire has set up several Safehouses where she can go to get items, weapons, money, or just lay low if the heat is on.

ARSENAL
Roy is a womanizer, this is true. He's had a number of girlfriends over the years, but none have consistently wrecked his life over and over more than his attraction to Cheshire. He knows she's around-the-bend crazy but that never seems to matter.

FAMILY
Cheshire is very much family oriented. So much so that if anything happens to the ones she loves, she will go through hell to get revenge for them. Her family comes first. This can be used against her as toying with her family will very quickly take her off whatever task she may be on and put her on a whole new one.

HOME
Jade doesn't really have a home. She has a few safe houses but, her home was taken from her at a young age. This leads her to be rather insecure at times and even at times prone to paranoia. She does not consider her safe houses homes. To her, a home is a place where you can spend time with your family and not have to worry about danger.

OVERCONFIDENCE
Cheshire is good and she knows it. This can lead her to make mistakes. It is very easy for her to slip up on occasion. This can lead to the need to make a hasty retreat or worse.

PSYCHOPATH

While she is not a true psychopath, She is often viewed as such because She works without remorse. She does what she does without the slightest hint of empathy. This causes some people to feel uneasy around her because it seems like she is completely amoral. In fact she is does have morals. They are just her own. She does feel empathy and compassion, she just shuts them down to do her job. These things are reserved for friends and family. Not targets
