Profile
Jessica Drew is the product of secret genetic experimentation by the notorious HYDRA organization, her parents working for the criminal network, at the infamous Mount Wundagore. As an adult, Jessica went on to work for HYDRA, trained by the infamous Taskmaster to become a deadly assassin, but when she learned of HYDRA's deceit, and their role in her parent's disappearance, she turned on them, defecting to SHIELD, and now one of the organizations top metahuman agents.

Jessica Drew is a tall attractive woman, nearly six feet tall, with a lithe wiry build while still retaining feminine curves. She has long black hair that hangs down past her shoulders, frequently worn loose, with green eyes, and lips a vibrant red. She often wears a pair of black and red goggles, with reflective amber lenses.
She wears a two-piece costume. The top is a jacket, not all that dissimilar to a leather biker's jacket, double breasted, with a mandarin style collar, and a spider design on the breast, yellow body with black legs. The jacket has zipper pockets in the front, and a collapsible 'web' glider that connects from sleeves to back when she connects and extends it. The lower half of her costume is a pair of tight black leggings, with red and black boots that come up past the ankle, with a snug fit and non-slip rubber soles. She has a yellow utility belt she wears about her waist, cocked low on one hip like some sort of gunslinger, and a pair of leather gloves on her hands.

History

Jessica Drew is the daughter of Jonathan and Miriam Drew, a pair of scientists whose work involved splicing spider and human DNA. The research of the couple drew the attention of HYDRA, and her parents moved to a research facility at Wundagore Mountain, with the financial backing of HYDRA. While still within her mother's womb, Jessica was subjected to genetic experimentation to imbue her with the traits and abilities of several different types of spiders. The attempt was successful.
As a young child, Jessica remained at Wundagore Mountain, raised by a Cow-Human hybrid creature named Bova, following the mysterious disappearance of her parents, making for quite the unusual childhood for young Jessica. Upon reaching maturity, Jessica was recruited, under false pretenses, by the Organization HDYRA, claiming that they could help her find what happened to her parents.
To become what Hydra intends her to be, a skilled fighter and assassin, she was given to the Taskmaster for special intense training in combat, assassination, and espionage. Upon completing her HYDRA training under the whip of the Taskmaster, Jessica is put to work for HYDRA's agenda, but she begins to see through the web of lies she has been told and discovers that HYDRA was the likely culprit in her parent's disappearance, having had misgivings and doubts about HYDRA's intentions towards their daughter.
With the mounting suspicion, doubts, and weakening of her conditioning and brainwashing, Jessica decided to defect during a mission she was sent to assassinate Nick Fury. She spent some time detained by SHIELD, debriefed, and deprogrammed from her HYDRA brainwashing, but she was eventually given a chance by the organization, and has since become a trusted ally and member of SHIELD, one of their top Metahuman agents.

Jessica Drew is not your normal person, an experiment at birth, and raised by a half woman, half cow nanny, with very limited contact with adults or children in her formative years. This means she hasn't really learned the same lessons that other children would have, and she doesn't have the same level of social skills, leaving her at times a little socially awkward. She is competent and tough, sometimes standoffish, and oftentimes blunt, with a wry sense of humor.
She has trust issues as well, with a lifetime of being used, first by her father as an experiment, then by Hydra, and now by Shield, but she can be extremely caring at times as well, and protective of those few friends she does have, or innocents and bystanders. She is a pretty pragmatic woman though, the ends sometimes justify the means, and if working with someone normally distasteful will get the job done, she's willing to tolerate it.
She has trust issues as well, with a lifetime of being used, first by her father as an experiment, then by Hydra, and now by Shield, but she can be extremely caring at times as well, and protective of those few friends she does have, or innocents and bystanders. Compared to your average human, Jessica has a strong ability to heal herself, bruises heal quickly, more serious tissue damage, or broken bones could heal within days, and she can recover from even more serious injuries like a broken spine given enough time.

Jessica's super human physiology has given her the ability to sustain a state of physical activity for far longer than the normal human, the toxins that create fatigue not as impactful on her body, giving her the ability to exert herself at a peak level for several hours.
STRENGTH
Thanks to her genetic alterations, Jessica has been granted the strength of a spider, and while not as strong as some members of the spider family, she is still superhumanly strong, able to lift about 7 tons over her head with some effort.
VENOM BLASTS
Thanks to an extreme ability to produce bio-electricity, Jessica can create blasts of energy she has dubbed 'Venom Blasts', her ability to channel and discharge this bio electricity through her hands. She can control the intensity of these blasts, from small blasts capable of stunning, to potent blasts with the power of lightning bolts that can kill a human. These blasts are electrical in nature, and in humans largely effect the nervous system.
WALL CRAWLING
Thanks to a powerful electrostatic reaction her body can produce, Jessica can cling to any surface and climb or move on it. In addition to clinging to walls, she can hold considerable amounts of weight while in these physics defying wall clings.
AGILITY
Jessica exhibits an extreme level of physical agility, able to balance herself on narrow, unstable platforms, and maintain a high degree of body control even while falling, tumbling, or contorted in unusual positions to a degree far superior to your average human.
CONTAMINANT IMMUNITY
Jessica's virtually immune to a wide array of contaminants, thanks to her super strength metabolism, able to develop immunity to toxins, poison and drugs after an initial exposure. She is also completely immune to the harmful effects of radiation. When initially exposed to a toxin, she often has a moment of dizziness, before becoming completely immune.
DURABILITY
Jessica is more durable then your normal person, able to resist impact forces and energy blasts that might otherwise cripple or kill an average person, instead only getting mild discomfort from these strikes, though she is far from invulnerable.
FLEXIBILITY
Jessica has a level of flexibility that would make a Vegas contortionist jealous, her body extremely limber, and her tissue at least twice as flexible of a human's, this can let her fit into tight spots, escape most bonds, and otherwise perform acrobatic feats at an astounding degree.
