|Description=A young man in his late teens, he is tall and fairly well built. He has strong facial features, with a square jaw and a strong nose. Eyes are pale blue, framed by sharp black eyebrows. He has his dark hair cut in a modern style.<br><br>He wears dark red jeans and black boots. On his chest, a shirt of red and dark blue with a big red S on black, under a black leather jacket. Red gloves cover his hands.

|History=Superboy was the 13th attempt to clone Superman implemented by secret, possibly government-sponsored and likely illegal genetic lab based near Metropolis. The geneticists working in this shady project repeatedly failed to clone the complex, alien DNA, in its pure form, but finally succeeded by mixing it with human DNA. They had help of this super-genius donor that desired to remain anonymous. As a consequence 'Experiment 13' was not expected to have the full Kryptonian powerset, but he was useful as a test, and perhaps he would be useful as a super-soldier too. <br><br>Therefore he wasn't terminated when it looked he was developing well. Instead he was subject to accelerated grow, given a name (Conner) and memory implants of skills, and experiences of a mundane life in a Kansas town called Smallville (it took him a year after escaping to find out Smallville was a real place - freaky). He was also immersed in Virtual Reality scenarios many times, attending high school, and even meeting real people also in the VR session for socializing and learning. One of those he met was a platinum blonde 'bad girl' visiting the town. He still hopes she wasn't just a VR character. <br><br>Although the plan was to keep him growing until he was physically about 25, Experiment 13 was freed by a bunch of clever kids, also clones, living in the underground complex. They thought he was the real Superman, who was missing and believed dead, somehow turned younger. The kids successfully sneaked into the high-security lab and opened the chamber Conner was held, freeing a very confused and mostly amnesic sixteen year old (actually maybe 3 years old) hybrid clone. Alarms rang, guards came, but 'Superman' fought and managed to escape the lab complex. Totally unexpected, since he had never received solar radiation, his creators didn't expect him to have powers. But he did. Somehow his human side had given him powerful telekinetic abilities. <br><br>Believing he was Superman, the clone wandered into Metropolis and soon got into trouble. Something he quickly have a knack doing. Cocky, arrogant and (relatively) powerful, he dressed up in a modified Superman outfit (including a leather jacket) he did a pretty good job filling the real Kryptonian shoes for a few weeks. By the time the real McCoy returned, most people in Metropolis was calling him Superboy. Although by then he has started to remember his VR life. He started to call himself Conner among his friends, and finding more and more inconsistencies in his belief he was Superman. <br><br>After helping during the troubles following Superman 's return, Conner decided to leave Metropolis to find himself and his place in the world. He spent some time travelling, and almost a year in Hawaii. Now he is back to the East Coast, but in New York, since he doesn't want to live under the shadow of the elder Kryptonian.
