Profile

Originally a clone of Supergirl created by Cadmus, Power Girl has recently made her own way in the world. Now she lives in Metropolis, working as a scientist for S.T.A.R. Labs under the guise of Karen Starr. She uses her abilities to keep her colleagues safe at S.T.A.R. Labs, and the people of the world at large. And all while attempting to carve out a normal life for herself in the City of Tomorrow.

KRYPTONIAN

As a Kryptonian, Power Girl has the standard suite of powers: invulnerability, super strength, super speed, EM vision, super hearing, heat vision, flight, and super breath.

SOLAR ABSORPTION

While absorbing yellow sunlight, Power Girl heals from wounds and diseases very quickly.

SOLAR POWER ABSORPTION

As long as Power Girl has the radiation of a yellow sun, she can regenerate from many things.

Power Girl was trained to be a weapon, and she has extensive tactical training in how to use her powers. She can be downright vicious about them in the right circumstances.

SCIENTIST

Karen's Kryptonian IQ combined with her upbringing in a laboratory predispose her toward physical sciences, particularly chemistry. She's particularly interested in theoretical applications. Her lack of experience prevents her from being a leading authority in the field, though.

AGE

As an artificially aged clone, Karen lacks a lot of life experience, and this creates certain psychological vulnerabilities due to a lack of a grounded identity.

KRYPTONITE

Radioactive debris from the planet Krypton is immediately debilitating to Karen. She weakens instantly merely from exposure, and is assumed to die from less than thirty minutes of sustained exposure to it. Kryptonite is also lethal to humans, but much more slowly, and its radiation is blocked by lead.

MAGIC

Magic penetrates Kryptonian invulnerability, but not Kryptonian toughness. The results are unpredictable, but magic can generally be assumed to at least hurt Karen.

PSYCHIC ATTACKS

Kryptonians are physically impervious to most harm, but have no particular inherent defense against psychic attacks, except in rare cases where a Kryptonian brain is incompatible with a particular kind of telepathy due to neurological differences.
